Who Will Be The 1st Overall Pick In The 2018 NFL Draft?
All indications are that the Browns will go with Sam Darnold first overall. They may go another direction, but the Browns need to take the top athlete at the position in this year’s class and can’t stretch looking for upside. They’ve made far too many mistakes at the quarterback position in past years and is there isn’t much not to like about the USC quarterback. If you want to take a shot somewhere else, I’d go with Oklahoma QB, Baker Mayfield. If the Browns don’t take Darnold – I expect them to go after Mayfield.
Three Favorite Prop Picks For The 2018 NFL Draft
Bradley Chubb – Draft Position
Barring a trade, I think Chubb goes in the top 4 picks. There is a chance the Giants grab him at No. 2, though they seem to be most interested in Saquon Barkley. Though, they could also go another route and go after Chubb if they don’t go Barkley and still don’t want a quarterback. The Jets seem likely to take a quarterback, but that is not a certainty. Furthermore, the Browns have another pick at No. 4 and Chubb makes a ton of sense for them not only due to his talent but as a bookend with Myles Garrett. There is a lot of value at u4.5 picks at just -120.
2018 NFL Draft Pick: Bradley Chubb Under 4.5
Who Will Be The First Wide Receiver Drafted In 2018?
The consensus seems to be that Ridley is going first, but that doesn’t make much sense if you look at the skills and physical attributes he has and how those correlate to NFL success. I could certainly see a spot where a team goes another direction with DJ Moore or DJ Chark. Both come with some plus money. Chark is a bit higher up at +2000. I think Moore has an excellent chance to be the first receiver selected at +210.
2018 NFL Draft Pick: DJ Moore +210
Who Will Be The Third Overall Pick In The NFL Draft?
If nothing changes, the Jets will be picking third, and they have no secrets about going quarterback in this spot. We’re assuming that Darnold is going No. 1 overall, so that puts Josh Rosen and Baker Mayfield most likely in play for the Jets with the No. 3 pick. Bettors can wager on the Rosen and Mayfield and guarantee themselves a profit if either one is selected as two $100 bets on both will net bettors $40 or $50 in profits, depending on which one wins.
