We’re moving into the closing stages of the season and are getting an overwhelming supply of Bundesliga fotball as it’s meant to be.  Leverkusen’s trip to Europe almost looks sealed, but the alarm bells are ringing over Wolfsburg, who for now are the probable contenders of the second Europa League spot.

However, they are level with Hoffenheim in points and are only 4 points adrift of the Freiburg and more daunting than ever Hertha Berlin—last week’s loss gave delivered a heavy blow.

We’ve picked up some of the most crucial games from round 30, which profoundly impact the position of each of the team involved—as none of the teams can afford even a single loss at this point barring FC Bayern.

FC Bayern Vs. Leverkusen

On their trip this Saturday to the BayArena, the league leaders pose a serious threat over Leverkusen’s Champion’s League hopes. They’re on the level on points with Monchengladbach, who have a rather easier fixture on Friday, and 2 points behind RB Leipzig, who are going to take on the weakest team sitting at the bottom of the table.

The silver lining for Leverkusen against Bayern Munich would be Kai Havertz’s red hot form. The German teenager scored his 11th league goal to help Die Werkself seal an important victory against Freiburg. Ever since the restart, Leverkusen has only wavered once in the shocking 4-1 loss against Wolfsburg.

Apart from their last game, all of their games have had over three goals in them. However, despite being in excellent form, going against this scary-looking FC Bayern team who have only lost twice in their last 19 league games seems like a huge mountain to climb—not to mention Bayern’s winning streak of 8 consecutive games would definitely add a mental pressure on Peter Bosz’s men.

Keeping both teams’ form in mind, this is surely going to be one tight game—the xG numbers of both sides since the restart (in the range of 8-9) only hint towards a game that has drama written all over it. As both teams have managed to get on the scoring sheet in their 6 games, this game doesn’t seem to be any different.

My favorite bets for this game seem are the FC Bayern at -217, who are quite clearly the favorites along with the over 3¾ goals in the game.

Both teams will be going in with contrasting emotions into this game. The home team remains two points from second place on the league table while the visitors are going through a nightmare of a season.

Being just two away from Dortmund, this game seems like a golden chance for RB Leipzig to change their league position, given Dortmund has a tricky game this weekend. 

RB Leipzig hasn’t lost a game since the restart of the campaign. However, the frustrating draws hint towards the questionable defensive concentration of the hosts. They’ve conceded four goals in their last two games, and this is nowhere a positive sign for a team that’s sitting third on the table.

Although keeping Red Bulls’ impressive home record in mind, this seems to be a comfortable win for them. In addition to that, the fact that the hosts have scored 9 goals in their last 3 games makes this seemingly another high-scoring contest.

Leipzig Vs. Paderborn Betting Pick

Beyond a shadow of a doubt, RB Leipzig are favorites going into this game. I’m expecting a comfortable victory with a huge margin. So, I’d take RB Leipzig -2½ (-102) along with the over 3¾ (-120).

Dortmund Vs. Hertha Berlin

On the surface this game would make you think it’s going to be an easy win for Dortmund, seeing both team’s league positions. However, this Hertha Berlin team seems to be an overpowered version of the team that started the season on a highly disappointing note, thanks to their new manager, Bruno Labbadia.

Dortmund has only lost once at home this season, that too against Bayern this season, in a game that they walked in as underdogs. And to add more hopes to the BVB fans, the hosts have scored 12 goals in their last 4 games.

Hertha Berlin have been in a fantastic form since the arrival of their new manager. They’ve been unbeaten in their last six games and have managed to keep a clean sheet in all 4 wins in the aforementioned 6.

Hertha’s revival under their new manager has been immense. One of their most impressive displays came against RB Leipzig; the game ended in a 2-2 draw. 

Despite being the favorites in the game, Hertha’s fierce attacking setup will definitely trouble the favored side. Dortmund’s defense has opened up a bit too frequently this season.

This looks like a tight game but there won’t be any disappointments from the goal-scoring department. So, my money would be on over 3½ (-106) goals.

Both teams look likely to score, so a BTTS bet is another good option to go with.
