Next week we are set to have a clash of the ages between LSU and Alabama. In the meantime, these two programs will rest this weekend to get ready for what should be one of the best games of the 2019 College Football season.
Even if LSU and Bama are not around this Saturday, we still have a lot of teams to talk about during Week 10 of the NCAA Football games. Georgia, Florida, and Oregon are back in the mix after Oklahoma’s upset loss against Kansas State last week. It’s a matter of time to see who will be the next big program to fall at the hands of the upset gods.

Michigan is coming off the most impressive win I can remember in Jim Harbaugh’s tenure with the team. The Wolverines not only destroyed Notre Dame 45-14, but it had all the makings of a dramatic victory. It was against a direct rival, and it happened on a rainy night in front of their fans.

After reaching the College Football playoffs last year, this is not the year for Notre Dame. The program needs to dust off the loss against Michigan and beat Virginia Tech at home to get back some of their lost respect.

Whoever wins this game is back in the College Football playoffs mix. Florida’s loss against LSU doesn’t look as bad, considering it was to the now number one team in the nation. We can’t say the same about Georgia.
The Bulldogs need consistency on offense if they want to stay in the playoffs’ conversation. They have scored 38 points in the last two games combined. That won’t cut it.

These are the types of games that you schedule early in the season, but not so much in November. Other than Texas A&M, Clemson hasn’t faced anybody of note this season. That’s why they keep falling back in the rankings despite remaining unbeaten.
I wonder if Dabo Swinney is concerned his team might get to the playoffs without a real challenge in three months. Their best upcoming challenge is against Wake Forest. That doesn’t impress anybody.

This is one of those trap games for Utah. Oregon won in Washington a couple of weeks ago, and now the Utes are forced to do the same. Although beating the Huskies is anything but an easy task.

The Ducks are back in the College Playoffs mix, but they need to sweep the rest of the schedule to have a real shot. It starts with USC this weekend.
