LoL European Championship Spring Season Betting Preview – Best LEC Odds & Bets
The League of Legends LEC Spring Season is upon us! And, after three weeks of matches, we’ve already seen some electrifying matches. But let’s get to the real reason you should be keeping an eye on the season: betting. With a few weeks of games already in the books, there are some teams and specific players to keep an eye on as the season continues, because they can surely tip the scales.
And this season has a lot of promise for bettors new and old. First-time bettors get to test the waters after taking a look at the current standings, while experienced bettors can keep up on the lines with the major betting sites. Get your favorite betting site at the ready and keep your Twitch app fired up, it’s time to take a look at the 2019 League of Legends LEC Spring Season.
League Of Legends LEC Teams To Watch
In terms of favorites going forward, it’s hard not to go with G2 eSports. After all, they’re currently undefeated and have a great mid lane player in Rasmus Winther (also known as “Caps”). However, I still wouldn’t sleep on some of the competition. Team Vitality is currently 5-1 and, outside of a Week 1 loss against SK Gaming, on a five-game winning streak. FC Schalke 04 is also 5-1 with only one loss to… G2 eSports. On the opposite spectrum, you’ve got Rogue, who are currently sitting at 0-6. Surely, they have to win in the coming weeks, right? …Right?
Players To Watch During LoL LEC
There are a lot of big names competing in the 2019 LEC Spring Season. Despite currently having a dismal 1-5 record, Fnatic is blessed to have 2018 eSports PC Rookie of the Year Bwipo on their team. Misfits Gaming’s sOAZ has years of competitive experience (and a confusing username). And Jankos of G2 eSports is highly regarded as one of the best junglers. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that he considers Chuck Norris to be his idol. I mean, have you seen that dude’s roundhouse kick?
Upcoming LoL LEC Betting Lines
In terms of the current lines, Week 4 offers some interesting opportunities. Just looking at a few of the current lines from Bovada, Origen (-280) is heavily favored against Rogue (+195), SK Gaming (+130) hopes to have a close match against SPLYCE (-175), and Fnatic (+290) looks like a MAJOR longshot against G2 eSports (-400). However, I have a good feeling about Schalke 04 (-110) over Misfits (-125), due to their established ranking and success this season. But what do I know? I’m just a professional eSports writer and experienced bettor.
Upcoming Games To Keep An Eye On During LEC
Additionally, there’s one match you should definitely look forward to in Week 6. On February 22nd, G2 eSports (that one team I won’t shut up about) squares off against FC Schalke 04 to kick off the day’s games. While there’s no lines available yet, this should be one heck of a rematch to keep an eye on. Make sure to watch those lines as, if these streaks continue, you can likely get some good odds on FC Schalke 04. But remember, there’s a reason I won’t shut up about G2, as they’re, well, really, really good.

League Of Legends European Championship (LEC) Futures
The only bad news? There are currently no futures on sites such as BetOnline, MyBookie, and Bovada. However, you should absolutely keep an eye on each of these, as there should be some interesting futures to keep an eye on before Week 9 wraps up on March 16th. While they likely won’t be getting great odds if their streak continues, I’m going to have to think that G2 will continue their race to the finish line. Nevertheless, keep an eye on both Team Vitality and FC Schalke 04 in the coming weeks, as I have a feeling one of the two will have a chance against G2. Alright, I’m done talking about G2. …Just as the article’s over.
