National Championship Betting Lines | 2020 Championship Odds To Win

Is it too early to miss College Football? Not in my book. The dust hasn’t settled yet on Clemson’s stunning win over Alabama, but I’m already looking for the best odds to win the College Football title next season. MyBookie.ag is right there with us. The oddsmakers already put out there the odds to win the 2019/20 National Championship and the odds to win the 2019 Heisman Trophy. Let’s dive right into it.

Clemson +400

This is the first time in five years where a team other than Alabama opens as the top early favorite to win the title. Dabo Swinney has become my new favorite College coach after the but whopping he gave Nick Saban and the Tide in the last Championship game. The scary thing with Clemson is they are set to dominate in the next two seasons as well. We know Dabo recruits as well or even better than Saban. He’s no longer the underdog in this conversation. Plus, he has the most wanted QB in the world right now in Trevor Lawrence.

The surfer boy will throw touchdown passes in the NFL in 2021, but in the meantime, he will enjoy his life as a College superstar in Clemson. MyBookie.ag listed Lawrence as the top candidate to win the Heisman Trophy next season and rightfully so. He’s +200 to win the award, and right now I don’t think anybody is a close challenger. Clemson’s tailback Travis Etienne is at +900 to win it as well. These two on the same offense just isn’t fair

Alabama +500

What the hell happened to Bama during the National Championship game? I was stunned at how they played and how rattled they looked by everything Clemson threw at them. Even Nick Saban told the press after the game he loves them. The world as I knew it came crashing down in one night.

Bama still will have another shot at the title next year, because let’s face it, they are not going anywhere. QB Tua Tagovailoa will get a chance for redemption in 2019. Tua follows Lawrence as the top favorites to win the Heisman at +250. Don’t count the Tide just yet, but Clemson is in a better position as we speak and Georgia smells blood in the water while coming for the Tide inside the SEC as well.

Georgia +700

The Bulldogs are always the bridesmaid and never the bride in the SEC, but that might change this season. Clemson might have discovered the fingerprint on how to beat Alabama, and Georgia has the players to do emulate it. Heck, they almost did it in the SEC Championship game.

Don’t sleep on the Bulldogs QB Jake Fromm at +750 to win the Heisman Trophy. Froom is on his third year as the starter and last season took a significant step from game manager to a baller. Fromm will get a lot of help from running back D’Andre Swift who is listed at +900 to win the individual award as well.

Ohio State +1000

the new era of the Ohio State Buckeyes will be fun to watch, but there are a lot of tests ahead now that the Urban Meyer era is over. We still must see how Ryan Day does on his new gig as the Head Coach of one of the primary football schools in the nation, but I’m thinking he will be fine. Challenging the top dogs Clemson and Bama will take time. The Buckeyes QB Tate Martell is one of the QBs I’m eager to see take on the field. MyBookie.ag listed him at +1100 to win the Heisman. If he gets developed the right way by Ryan Day and his offense, Martell could be a massive weapon for Ohio State.
