On Monday, the 49ers announced QB Jimmy Garoppolo will miss six weeks, while TE George Kittle will miss eight weeks because of ankle injuries.

QB Nick Mullens took his place and completed 18-25 passes for 238 yards and two touchdowns. The Niners scored a TD on every single series he was under center.
Mullens is also the player that was benched against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4 after throwing an outrageous Pick Six.
The Packers recorded their second loss in three weeks after a 28-22 defeat at home against the Minnesota Vikings. Green Bay allowed RB Dalvin Cook to record 226 yards from scrimmage and four touchdowns.
The last time a running back gave Green Bay that many problems was Raheem Mostert when San Francisco beat the Packers in the NFC Championship game. Mostert had 220 rushing yards and four TDs that day.
Green Bay’s RB AJ Dillon won’t be available on Thursday Night as he tested positive for COVID-19. Backup Jamal Williams won’t be around either as he was in close contact with Dillon.
The Green Bay Packers haven’t mentioned if Aaron Jones (calf) will be available for the Niners’ meeting. He has missed the last two games.
