After going down 0-24 in the second quarter of their divisional meeting, the Kansas City Chiefs outscored the Houston Texans 51-7. The rest is history.
The Chiefs will have most of the team that won Super Bowl 54 back. Houston lost WR DeAndre Hopkins. They will try to replace him with a wideout committee between Brandin Cooks, Randall Cobb, Kenny Stills, and Will Fuller V.
The betting opened with the Chiefs -11, but across most sportsbooks, Kansas City is now -9.

Both Russell Wilson and Matt Ryan were the most sacked QBs in the NFL in 2019. Neither team tried to improve their offensive lines in the offseason.
Wilson will have TE Greg Olsen, WR Phillip Dorsett, and RB Carlos Hyde as new weapons. Safety Jamal Adams should be a game-changer for the defense.
Atlanta had the third-best passing offense in the NFL in 219. Yet, they were the third-worst running the ball. Adding Todd Gurley should help both departments.

The Jets traded S Jamal Adams, and LB CJ Mosley opted out. Both were captains on the team last season.
Last year New York had the second-worst offense in the entire league, averaging just 17.3 points per game.
Buffalo added WR Stefon Diggs via trade. QB Josh Allen now has Diggs, Cole Beasley, and John Brown as his receivers. Allen will seek to complete 60% of his passes during a season for the first time in his career.

The Bears named QB Mitch Trubisky as the starter for the season. The game opened as a pick’em and then moved to the Lions -3.
The Lions signed RB Adrian Peterson, but HC Matt Patricia hasn’t mentioned if he’s going to play on Sunday. Detroit is 9-22 in two seasons under Patricia.

Packers Vs. Vikings Breakdown
The Packers had a weird offseason and a controversial draft. When the front office selected QB Jordan Love and RB AJ Dillon with the first two picks in their 2020 draft, the NFL world went crazy.
Green Bay swept the Vikings last season as they posted a 13-3 record. The Packers have won four of their last seven visits to Minnesota.
The Vikings lost three players in the secondary defense alongside DT Linval Joseph. They recently added DE Yannick Ngakoue from Jacksonville, who had eight sacks in 2019.
Minnesota also lost WR Stefon Diggs. Rookie WR Justin Jefferson will be his replacement.

The Ravens suffered three losses last season, one of them was against the Cleveland Browns.
Cleveland finally invested in the offensive line. This means there are no more excuses for Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr., and company.
Baltimore spent money in their defensive line bringing Calais Campbell and Derek Wolfe in the offseason. The team parted ways with S Earl Thomas. It’s going to be interesting to see who can fill that void.

We will get to see Joe Burrow in the NFL after he tossed 60 TD passes in his senior year with LSU. His welcome to the league is against one of the best defenses in the NFL, minus S Derwin James.
The Chargers will have QB Tyrod Taylor under center after 16 years with Philip Rivers in control. WR Mike Williams (shoulder) will be a game-time decision for Week 1.

I might add, those quarterbacks, Tom Brady, and Drew Brees have thrown more touchdowns than any other player in the league’s history.
This game will end a 74-game streak of Brady being the favorite in the regular season. The last time he was an underdog was in a visit to Green Bay in 2014.

The last time we saw San Francisco on the field, the Chiefs’ passing game burned them. Arizona has as many talented weapons and could look to do the same.
The San Francisco 49ers lost WR Emmanuel Sanders in free agency. FB Kyle Juszczyk and WR Deebo Samuel and considered game-time decisions for Sunday.

The Rams lost a ton of talent on defense. LB Cory Littleton, OLB Dante Fowler Jr, CB Nickell Robey-Coleman, LB Clay Matthews, and S Eric Weddle are all gone.
The team is a little tight in the cap space, which means they won’t have the superstars they did in previous years. That will put a lot of pressure on QB Jared Goff, who threw a career-high 16 interceptions last season.
Dallas Cowboys’ Dak Prescott didn’t sign a massive contract in the offseason as expected. But he will have one of the best receiving corps in the NFL at his disposal in 2020. Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb will be a nightmare for defenses.
However, keep an eye on the Cowboys offensive line. RT La’el Collins landed on IR while 29-year old Center Travis Frederick retired.

Pittsburgh’s defense had 38 takeaways last season, the most in the NFL. It’s hard to repeat a number like that, but they will face a Giants team that didn’t take care of the ball well in 2019.
The Giants will have new coach Joe Judge running the show. He was the New England Patriots special teams’ coach last season.
QB Daniel Jones will be on his second season in the NFL. He threw 24 touchdowns and 12 interceptions during his rookie season. His 24 TDs were the third-most by a rookie in league’s history.

The Titans recently signed DE Jadeveon Clowney for a season. He’s listed as a starter on defense and will deal with a poor Broncos’ offensive line.
Denver’s LT Garett Bolles is a complete liability and RT Jawan James opted-out of the season. Their new center Lloyd Cushenberry is a rookie. Good luck dealing with Clowney.
Tennessee was the best team inside the Red Zone last season, and that helped them reach the AFC championship game. Most of the group is back, including tailback Derrick Henry who led the league in rushing yards and TDs in 2019.
The Broncos lost OLB Von Miller for the season due to an ankle injury. DT Bradley Chubb is not ready to return to the starting lineup either. He suffered an ACL injury in 2019.
