When the Florida Panthers beat the Buffalo Sabres on Friday night, every team in the NHL had played at least sixty-two games. That means every team is in the final twenty game stretch. Some teams will be trying to make one last impressive push at the playoffs, while others toss in the towel and begin to prepare for next season.

Colorado Avalanche
The Avalanche are a single point out of the final wild-card spot, but they have been a very good team to bet on this season. You would have won $1188.57 if you bet $100 on all the Avalanche’s games. Colorado has found themselves to be constant underdogs after ending last season in the last place in the entire NHL.
Tampa Bay Lightning
The Lightning are sitting in first place of the entire NHL, but not by much. The Predators and Golden Knights are right on their heels. If you bet $100 on all sixty-six of the Lightning’s games, you would have won $1081.04. Tampa Bay is constantly a large favorite in their matchups but is probably the safest team to bet on in the NHL.

Arizona Coyotes
The Coyotes have been terrible all season, but for the first time in a while they are not the worst team on the list. Arizona would have lost you $1647.59 if you bet $100 on all their games. The Coyotes are in last place of the NHL right now, which gives them the best odds for the number one overall draft pick.
Buffalo Sabres
Like the Coyotes, the Sabres have been on this list all season. Buffalo was expected to have a better season this year, but instead have struggled to maintain any consistency. The Sabres are above only the Coyotes in the NHL. If you bet $100 on all of Buffalo’s games, you would have lost $1515.27.

Philadelphia Flyers
The Flyers have jumped up the standings recently and that has shown in their betting totals. Philadelphia would have lost you $189.69 if you bet $100 on every game last article. Now the Flyers would have won you $376.63 if you bet $100 on every game.
Chicago Blackhawks
The Blackhawks have had some big changes in the last stretch of the season before, but this year it is in the opposite direction. Chicago continues to fall in the standings. The Blackhawks are now fourteen points out of the final Wild Card spot. If you bet $100 on all of Chicago’s games last article, you would have lost $794.77. Now the Blackhawks would have lost you $1251.51 if you bet $100 on all their games.
Nashville Predators
The Predators got a taste of the Stanley Cup last season and they want to make it back to the promised land this season. Nashville is heating up at the right time. If you bet $100 on every Predators game last article you would have won $541.36. Now Nashville would have won you $976.92. The Predators are arguably the hottest team in the NHL right now, which makes them a safe team to bet on for now.
