I’m not going to lie. I’ve been watching a lot of Madden 20 simulations over the past days. I miss sports as much as you do.
The good news is I think I’ve found the perfect combination to keep watching Madden 20 while betting, but this is time with real NFL players in control.
The Checkdown put together a Madden 20 tournament with some NFL superstars. The competition will help the COVID-19 relief efforts.
Some of the biggest names in football are going head to head in Madden to raise money for COVID-19 relief. You can watch it all go down Wednesday on Twitch 🔥 @EAMaddenNFL pic.twitter.com/AM6PGG2RN5

With the names of the players revealed, Bovada set some odds to win the tournament.

Bet On The Checkdown Madden 20 Tournament |
There are a bunch of videos on YouTube about Tyreek Hill playing Madden with some YouTubers. Apparently, he does it a lot during the offseason.
It seems like he’s good, but not as unbeatable as the odds might suggest. In fact, he took a massive L in the game below.
Of course, these YouTubers spent their days playing Madden and posting videos online.
I’m not expecting any of the other NFL players to be as good. Maybe that’s the reason Tyreek is one of the top 2 favorites to win The Checkdown Madden 20 tournament.
Derwin James, the Chargers insanely strong safety, is the other guy listed as one of the favorites at +120.
There aren’t as many videos of James playing Madden online, but he does to play it.
In the two videos below, you can see him playing with Melvin Gordon, his now-former teammate, and arriving at a Madden tournament with Jalen Ramsey.
Derwin James and Tyreek Hill cannot play against each other in the final. If both win their early rounds matchups, they will meet in the semifinal.
It also means the other side of the bracket presents the most significant value. Think about it, either of these players will be in the final:
Once you reach the final, anything can happen, right? It might be smart to add some money to any of those above names. Looking at the odds, that side of the bracket is the easiest path to the final.
I would go with either Denzel or Deebo.
Those are the youngest guys of the groups. Kids these days spend their time playing Madden and Fortnite. They should be good bets.
