Top Bet Warning

Top Bet sportsbook, which operates at TopBet.eu, is under fire for many complaints from players and longer than usual processing speeds for payouts. Last month, we lowered Top Bet’s rating in our review and issued a warning to players to avoid them.

SportsbookReview.com reported earlier this month that a player had been waiting since February for a payout. Top Bet continues to be vague in their agreed upon timeframes for processing withdrawals, and management hasn’t offered much help, aside from generic updates.

Brief History

We cautioned players from depositing at Top Bet, due to their ownership and software ties to Future Bet. However, after the sportsbook reemerged in 2012, they put together several solid years. We still advised players to exercise caution, but they were honoring their terms and conditions and processing payouts quickly.

2017 Rating Drop

Top Bet only had a few complaints as we headed into the New Year. They processed payments swiftly and recently added Bitcoin to their cashier. However, as the calendar turned to the new year, more complaints starting coming into SBR and other watchdog sites.

Slow-paying customers is obviously a red flag, but the low dollar amount of the withdrawals that were are being delayed, raised even more eyebrows. They were behind on check payments of less than $2,000 and the sportsbook even offered a player a bonus if he would cancel his $400 payout.

Sportsbook Review’s Top Bet page is now littered with complaints. Their rating has dropped from a high point of a C rating to its current rating at SBR, a D.

Is Top Bet a Sinking Ship?

It appears that way. Being unable to complete a $400 payout and offering the player a bonus instead doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. Top Bet complaints are coming from players with relatively small account balances – which they apparently can’t cover.

Rumors in offshore betting forums also cast a bad light on Top Bet’s future. Apparently, several employees have already left. There is good reason to think the sportsbook is on its last legs.

Have Money at Top Bet?

We suggest you request a payout immediately. If you’re having trouble getting paid, contact us at Safest Betting Sites or leave a comment on this news post.
