Bengals Vs. Browns Predictions – NFL Week 16 Best Bets Against The Spread
Cincinnati Bengals +10 (-115) Vs. Cleveland Browns -10 (-105)
This isn’t game that people will be focusing on in a Week 16 full of playoff implications, but it is one of my favorites from the betting side. These two AFC division mates met back on 11/25 in Cincy, with the Browns taking care of business and winning by a score of 35-20. Cleveland won last week in Denver, keeping their slim playoff hopes alive at 6-7-1. Since Kitchens took over for Jackson, the team has flourished, especially offensively. The Browns will also get cornerback, Denzel Ward, back from a concussion, giving their secondary a significant upgrade.
Cincinnati is 6-8 and will once again go with Jeff Driskel at quarterback after Andy Dalton has been shut down for the season. The Bengals notched a 30-16 win over the lowly Raiders last week, improving their record to 6-8. Unfortunately, the injury bug hit them again, with wide receiver, Tyler Boyd, out this week. It will leave them extremely thin at wide receiver. The Browns opened at -7 in this one, but have moved to -10 at most sportsbooks as of this writing. It appears sharps and the betting public, alike, are heavily interested in Cleveland, at least up to -10. The total has dropped several points after opening at 46 points to 44.5.
The Browns will almost certainly win this one, but I do think the line has gotten to a point where it’s a little too much. I’m not a fan of Driskel and this offense, but the Bengals still do have some positive attributes. Cincinnati will not be laying down in this one, either. I think +10 is perfectly fine to take, but I would wait on this one as we get closer to the weekend. You may be able to get +10.5 at some recreational sportsbooks. This line is inflated a bit too much. Take the points with the road team.
