Buffalo Bills Vs. New England Patriots NFL Week 16 Betting Picks And Odds
The top of the AFC East could get a lot tighter when the Buffalo Bills challenge the New England Patriots on Saturday, in one of the most entertaining games of the entire NFL Week 16.
Buffalo is one game behind New England. A win in Foxborough would not put them on top of the division. The Patriots need to lose the last two to drop to second place. Let’s break down this game.

The Patriots opened a touchdown favorite over the Buffalo Bills, but it moved down to -6.5 in most markets. There are some sportsbooks still dealing Patriots -6.
58% of the betting public is coming on the side of the Bills and the points.
The Buffalo Bills’ Edge Vs. The Patriots
The Bills defense is no joke. They have put together a great unit and is the reason they have won ten games for the first time since 1999.
Buffalo’s defense ranks third in total yards allowed and second-best in points allowed, with just 15.9 PPG.
Last week they took down the Steelers 17-10 by picking QB Devlin Hodges four times, including two interceptions by cornerback Tre’Davious White.
The Bills Offense
The Bills offense is not as impressive, but it can be not very easy to stop, especially when QB Josh Allen decides to run the football.
Allen is not the best passer out there, but he does have some wheels. He has scored six rushing touchdowns in the last seven games.
Buffalo has won four of the last five games, including wins over currently playoffs teams like the Cowboys and Steelers. Their only loss was against the Baltimore Ravens, who happen to be on another level.
The New England Patriots’ Edge Vs. The Bills
Statistically, the New England Patriots’ defense is better than the Bills, but that can be argued. What is not up for discussion is that this is the best unit of the team.
The Pats give up 12.9 points per game, which is by far the best number in the entire NFL.
Many would say they have played inferior competition, and that’s true, but the defense has some playmakers in the secondary, and that cannot be denied.
Gilmore And Dalton
CB Stephon Gilmore sure is one of them. He intercepted QB Andy Dalton twice last week, including one that he took to the house.
Gilmore is tied with Tre’Davious White as the two players with the most interceptions this season. The offense still is a work in progress, although it is running out of time.
QB Tom Brady only completed 15 of 29 passes for 128 last week. Brady did toss up two touchdowns, one of them to rookie WR N’Keal Harry.
Buffalo Bills At New England Patriots NFL Week 16 Prediction
To me, this betting line is off. The Patriots should be favored, but not by that much. They are getting the respect of a team that has dominated the league over the past 20 yards, but they haven’t done it this season.
New England’s defense is good, but it can look vulnerable from time to time. Their offense, instead, hasn’t improved at all.
If anything, it might be regressing. Add to it that WR Julian Edelman is dealing with knee and shoulder injuries, and it looks like a bad scenario for the Patriots.
The Bills defense is the real deal. Don’t be afraid to take the points. Bet the Bills +6.5.
