Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers NFL Week 4 Betting Picks And Odds
Two winless teams will try to turn the season around on Monday Night Football when the Cincinnati Bengals visit the Pittsburgh Steelers in the last game of the NFL Week 4.
Bengals vs. Steelers Odds – NFL Season Week 4
The line for this AFC North matchup has dropped one point since it opened with the Steelers -4.5. Would it get to -3? I don’t think so. If you like Pittsburgh this is as good as it gets. It might move back to -4 by the time of the kickoff.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Preview
It’s hard to find the Bengals edge on this game other than the half-point given by the oddsmakers at MyBookie.ag.
Cincinnati is not one of those horrible teams like the Miami Dolphins or NY Jets, but they are exactly what most thought they would be. I don’t think anybody has been surprised. There isn’t enough talent on this team to aim for a decent season.
The Bengals somehow have been in close games against Seattle and Buffalo, covering the spread both times. Nevertheless, they can also lay an egg as they did against San Francisco in week 2, where they lost by 24 points.
What’s The Cincinnati Bengals Edge vs. The Steelers?
Andy Dalton is perhaps their best asset at this point. The Red Rifle is second in the league with 979 passing yards, only behind Pat Mahomes. While it is excellent for Dalton, the team is also dead last in rushing yards, averaging just 41.2 per game.
Cincinnati doesn’t do anything particularly well, but Dalton has managed to keep them in games, especially on the road. That must count for something.
What’s The Pittsburgh Steelers Edge vs. The Bengals?
Although the Steelers are also winless just like the Bengals, their season has been far worse. The expectations over Pittsburgh suggested they should aim for a playoff spot inside the AFC North; instead, they are last in the division.
The one guy that can turn things around on Monday night is RB James Conner. The entire faith of the offense is on his shoulders.
Conner has been awful during the season posting 97 rushing yards in three games with one touchdown and one fumble. Yet, he has a favorable matchup against Cincy.
The Second Worst Rushing Defense In The NFL
The Bengals have the second-worst rushing defense in the NFL; they are not last in the rankings thanks to the Miami Dolphins, but they should. Cincinnati gives up 168.7 rushing yards per game in 2019. Conner won’t find a better spot to pick up his level than on Monday Night.
The Steelers defense also is in an excellent position. Last week they forced five turnovers against the 49ers, and despite the loss, it was a solid defensive performance. It’s one of those the unit can build on.
Bengals vs. Steelers NFL Week 4 Betting Prediction
It’s hard to make a case on the Steelers covering the spread as favorites because their offense has been atrocious in the first three weeks. However, the matchup against the Bengals hugely favors them.
If Pittsburgh wants to turn around the season, this is precisely the game they must do it. James Conner remains the critical piece in this contest, but their defense should harass Andy Dalton to make him commit mistakes like he often does.
I can’t see Pittsburgh falling to 0-4. The Steelers need this game, and the Bengals are the perfect opponent to get the first win of the season.
I don’t like mixing up the years, but Cincinnati hasn’t won in their last eight games against Pittsburgh. Lay down the points and bet the Steelers -3.5.
