Dallas Cowboys Vs. New England Patriots | Betting Odds & Pick [NFL Week 12]

Dallas Cowboys (6-4) At New England Patriots (9-1) Betting Preview
The Dallas Cowboys want the public to see them as Super Bowl contenders, but their resume is not very impressive. A win against the New England Patriots surely will change that.
The battle between the two most hated franchises in the NFL will have the Cowboys visiting New England in one of the best games of the weekend.
Let’s break down the Cowboys at Patriots match and the betting odds.

The Dallas Cowboys’ Edge Vs. The Patriots
Other than their win against the Eagles a month ago, the Dallas Cowboys don’t have an impressive victory in 2019. A visit to Gillette stadium could tell a lot about where this team is.
Dallas can’t focus on one way of attack against New England. It needs to be a one-two punch between Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott. Right now, Dak is the team’s MVP, but he might want to take a back seat to Zeke this week.

Need To Run The Ball To Win
The way to beat the Patriots defense is by running the football. The Ravens ran for 210 yards three weeks ago against New England, controlled the tempo and dominated the game. They never gave the defense a chance to get takeaways out of their quarterback.
Zeke Elliott should pound the ball all afternoon. He has only had two games with over 120 rushing yards this season. If he wants to have a breakout moment this year, this is it.
When Zeke established the run, it would be easier for Dak to keep the Patriots defenses in check. Prescott leads the NFL, averaging 322.1 passing yards per game. Despite all his haters, he has been playing at a high level.
The New England Patriots’ Edge Vs. The Cowboys
The New England Patriots have a few phases where they are better than the Cowboys, but no one more obvious than at the coaching position. Bill Belichick vs. Jason Garrett is quite the mismatch between two teams with playoff hopes.
New England has the best scoring defense in the NFL, allowing 10.8 points per game. They also lead the league with 28 takeaways. As good as Dak has been playing, if the Patriots find a way to force him to throw, I won’t be surprised if the secondary finds a couple of interceptions in the game.
The offense has been struggling lately. I don’t think anybody can deny that. The good news is the Patriots activated LT Isaiah Wynn for the first time since week 2. He has been out with a toe injury, but his presence should help the offensive line to play a lot better.
Isaiah Wynn played 82 regular season snaps before being placed on IR.

Wynn gave up just 1 hit on 45 pass blocking snaps, giving him a 77.4 Pass Blocking Grade in his limited NFL action. https://t.co/BtnoumPaqv
Patriots Hindered By An Injured Offense
By default, an excellent offensive line performance should give Tom Brady more time to complete the many passes that he has been missing all season. The Patriots are likely to be without WR Mohamed Sanu, who is dealing with an ankle injury.
The status of WR Phillip Dorsett is unclear. He’s in the concussion protocol and hasn’t been clear to play. If he can’t go, once again, Brady will be missing weapons like it has been the case all season.
Dallas Cowboys At New England Patriots Week 12 Prediction
The Patriots are 9-1, but they don’t feel like a 9-1 team. They are still outstanding, but they haven’t dominated like in past years. Their offense has struggled, and the defense has taken advantage of a weak schedule.
Dallas usually doesn’t win big games like this one. New England doesn’t often lose games like this one. But the Cowboys look good enough to make this contest a close one.
I can’t see the Patriots winning this game by a touchdown or more. Their offense is just not in the right place at this point in the season. At some point, I expect them to figure it out, but it won’t be this week. Bet Cowboys +6.5.
