Geico 500 Betting Predictions | Odds & Lines | NASCAR Betting

If you are looking to bet on NASCAR race you cannot miss Geico 500 this weekend. The best drivers in the world will make their way down to Alabama and the Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, April 28th. This race is considered the second leg of NASCAR’s annual Grand Slam. Geico 500 will be contested over 188 laps that amount to 500 miles when the winner crosses the finish line. Let’s take a closer look at the competition to see who is the best bet at this race as this season’s perennial favorite names seems to be in a winning slump.

The golden boy Kyle Busch who has dominated the early part of the seasons has ended his dominance. Martin Truex Jr. about whom I have written in my Auto Parts 500 pick has gotten some wind under his sail. Joey Logano is starting to look like a winner we haven’t seen in a while. So, without further adieu let’s break down where you can find profitable opportunities when betting on NASCAR’s Geico 500.

2019 Geico 500 Betting Odds

Let’s address the elephant in the room right away. Isn’t it somewhat strange to see Kyle Busch at +1200, a step behind the favorites this week? He’s been untouchable almost every week of this season. Kyle is still #1 in the leaderboard in points, wins and Top 5 finishes. Busch finishedm13th place in the 2018 GEICO 500 and 3rd in 2017. Indeed, he will likely be the top favorite in this race again but somehow the early shine of invincibility isn’t there anymore.

Logano only has one win this year but he’s coming into Talladega in a great form. He’s placed third or better in two straight races, with the third-place result coming in Food City 500 and the second-place finish coming in Toyota Owners 500. MyBookie Sportsbook has him as the favorite at +800 and I will bet $200 on him to take the win at Geico 500 this Sunday.

Best Of the Rest to Win Geico 500?

Clint Bowyer has two wins at Talladega and missed out the third one when he finished second behind teammate Aric Almirola at the Alabama 500 in 2018. Bowyer’s experience with the track and Ford’s success at Talladega should be a good combination. I will put $150 on him at + 1000.

Brad Keselowski is considered as one of the favorites for the 2019 Geico 500. He has won here in 2009, 2012 and 2016 to become one of only eight drivers in history to win the Geico 500 at least three times. Keselowski finished 18th at the Food City 500 during his last race. So far this season Brad has two wins to his name this year in STP 500 and Quicktrip 500. MyBookie has him at +800 and I will bet my last $150 on him.
