2021 March Madness Final Four Prediction, Betting Odds & Picks
After a tournament full of upsets, the Final Four has finally been set. The brackets this year look quite different compared to what many people had in their brackets. However, the show goes on. The Final Four begins at 5 PM EST, this Saturday, April 3rd with coverage on CBS.
If you got it right with a few of your Cinderella picks, such as UCLA, you may be looking good!
Without further ado, let’s break down each of these two games in the Final Four and give you our favorite plays from each.
Houston Cougars +5 vs. Baylor Bears -5 Total: 135
Baylor was seen as one of the weaker top seeds in the tournament, but the Bears managed to somewhat easily get into the Final Four.
They had a little scare with Villanova in the Sweet 16 but cruised through Arkansas to punch their ticket to the Final Four from the South region.
It’s Baylor’s first Final Four in more than 70 years!
For Houston, their road was a little tougher, with a scare against Rutgers in the First Round and then holding off Oregon State to finally cash their ticket to the Final Four.
Houston has made five Final Four appearances in their history, but have lost all of them. Will this be the year they can get to the National Title game?

Baylor opened at -5 in this game and the number has not changed much. Some sportsbooks are dealing +5.5 and early on there were even a few at +6.
The action seems to be going on the Bears, but we have not seen a line move in their favor. Currently, the odds are Houston +5 (-110) and Baylor -5 (-110) at BetNow.
The total has opened at 135 at most sportsbooks but has seen a drop to 134 at most betting sites as of this writing. Right now, it’s at 134 with -110 vig on both sides at BetNow.
Houston vs. Baylor Betting Pick
Baylor was rated one of the weaker one seeds and although they the only ones left standing besides Gonzaga – I still think that is the case here.
Both of these teams play a similar style, low scoring, and grinding defense. This game should be close.
I’m happy to take the points with Houston in this one because I see this game more in the 2-3 rank rather than Baylor being deserving of being -5.
Some sportsbooks still even have Houston at +5.5 and I managed to get them +6 at one site.

UCLA Bruins +14 vs. Gonzaga Bulldogs -14 Total: 145
UCLA is this tournament’s Cinderella as they have managed to pull off several upsets as a No. 11 seed and reach the Final Four from the East Region.
UCLA even went to overtime in their First Four game and are now in the Final Four!
The Bruins took care of business in the Sweet 16 and Elite 8, knocking off the No. 2 seeded Alabama Crimson TIde and No. 1 Michigan.
No team has been more dominant than Gonzaga in this tournament or this college basketball season.
They have still not lost a game and have not truly been tested in this tournament.
The Zags easily took care of No. 5 Creighton and No 6 USC to punch their ticket to the Final Four from the West Region.

Gonzaga, not so shockingly, is a massive favorite in this contest. At BetNow, they are currently -14 (-110) with UCLA +14 (-110) as the dog.
Some sportsbooks have already moved them to -14.5, offer a little extra value for those that want to take the Bruins as live dogs in this matchup. Betting action is heavily in favor of the Zags.
The total has seen little movement. It opened at 145.5 and has moved to 145 at most online sportsbooks.
Still, some sites are sitting at 145.5. The number at BetNow is still 145 with -110 vig on both sides.
UCLA vs. Gonzaga Betting Pick
I like an underdog as much as anyone, but it’s tough to envision UCLA keeping this one close.
Their opponents down the stretch had some clear issues with scoring, Michigan, for example, but that will not be the case here.
Gonzaga has come out of the gate like a bat of out of hell in every tournament game this season and I don’t expect that to change now.
One of my favorite plays in this game is Gonzaga first half -8, since they always seem to come out guns blazing in the first half.
Every game of the tournament so far they have led by at least 12 points at halftime.
With that said, I still think they’re worth a play at -14, a number which could easily be gone by tipoff.
Don’t overthink this one, get a piece of Gonzaga one way or another. They’re the best team in the country and it’s not close.
