Masters 2019 Betting Odds, Preview And Picks – Golf Betting

Odds To Win The 2019 Masters From MyBookie.ag
There is a much more extensive list at MyBookie.ag but above are just the top ten or so. Golf betting specifically on this event is huge, you shouldn’t miss this chance. Mcllroy at +1200 is the odds-on favorite to win at Augusta this year, with Dustin Johnson +1600 and Justin Rose +1800 right behind him. Tiger Woods at +2000 and Jordan Spieth at +2200 round out the top five, these are the expected stars of the event.
The Favorite – Rory McIlroy +1200
Mcllroy had an injured plagued 2017, but when he gets going, he is the best in the game. He only has Augusta left to complete the career grand slam. He comes into this year’s event with 4 top ten finishes in his last four starts. Streakiness aside, Rory is one of the best drivers on tour and that gives the ability to dominate. He also has a bit of a chip on his shoulder after there were many comments about his professional career and commitment to golf.
The Star – Tiger Woods +2000
Woods has played a lot better this year, but it’s still hard to call him inspiring. The name keeps him high up on the oddsmakers’ boards because of all the action he receives. He’s been fantastic at Augusta with four victories and over a dozen top ten finishes, but it stops there. Woods hasn’t truly contended for a crown at the Masters since 2011. He also has not won there in 14 years. I would need a little more than 20/1 to place a bet on Tiger, and that’s not available. He could see in himself at the top of the leaderboard, but I am not buying it at this price.
My Favorite Long Shot Bet – Gary Woodland +7000
Woodland doesn’t have a great history at Augusta, but he has been playing great as of late. His advanced numbers are worth a look he is eight in strokes gained tee to green and second in birdie percentage. Though he’s been over par in his last four trips to Augusta – he is playing some of the best golf of his career. I like him a lot as a long shot at +7000. It could bring a huge upside and that’s why it’s worth the hedge.
Other Golfers Worth Betting On
The following are other picks which I’m also betting at in order to have a wide range of different bets, which in the end maximizes profitability. This is something you should always take into account. There are unpredictable upsides that you should hedge against.
Paul Casey +4000
Casey is up there in age but has always played well at Augusta. He has been fantastic over his last ten starts, with victories and two-second place finishes. Right now, he is playing some of the best golf of his long career. I love him at 40/1. To get that price on a guy that has four top-six finishes at the Masters is a steal.
Hideki Matsuyama +4000
Matsuyama has everything you want for a guy getting 40/1 at Augusta. He hits the ball high, he has an excellent record at the Masters, and he has finished in the top 20 four straight times. The only thing lacking is his short game. If he can do a decent job with his putter – he could easily play himself into a victory.
Francisco Molinari +3300
Once again, Molinari has not played well at Augusta, but he has played well as of late. He has added distance on his drives, and his short-game has looked fantastic. He looks focused and appears to have the ice water in his veins that is needed to win a tournament like this. I know if you look at his record at Augusta, it’s poor, but we might be seeing a different golfer right now. At 33/1 – I love him.
My Chalk Pick To Win – Justin Thomas +2500
Thomas is the most explosive golfer in the game. And, is tops in a bunch of advanced statistics, including fourth in strokes gained, third in total strokes gained, and many others. He hasn’t been amazing at the Masters, but he is only 25 years old and is playing some fantasy golf in recent weeks. He has as second place, and two third place finishes. He is a top-five ranked golfer in the world and is someone that few people are talking about. I think the price at +25/1 is fantastic, a pretty good bet if you have enough bankroll.
