Oregon Vs USC | College Football Week 10 Betting Odds & Pick
7 Oregon At USC NCAAF Betting Preview
Oregon might need to be extra careful on their trip to Southern Cal this weekend. The Trojans are no longer a powerhouse in the Pac-12, but they are good enough to spoil the party.
The Ducks will visit USC on a seven-game winning streak. They are ready to put their name in the College Football Playoffs conversation by sweeping the rest of the schedule.
Let’s break down this PAC-12 contest, odds, and our prediction:

What The NCAAF Odds Say About The Oregon Vs. USC Week 10 Matchup
The oddsmakers set the opening line at Oregon -4.5. It hasn’t moved much during the last few days, and the highest it got was -5. It’s back to -4.5 in most markets.
53% of the betting public is taking the Ducks to win on the road and cover the spread.
Oregon Ducks’ Edge Against USC
The Ducks are on a seven-game winning streak and look like the best program in the Pac-12. Their only loss came in week one against Auburn. They probably regret the approach they had during the game against the Tigers.
Since that defeat, they have recorded important road wins at Stanford and Washington. The victory over the Huskies showed a lot of character in a place where most come out empty-handed.
Powerfull Offense & Aggressive Defense
Oregon is a well-balanced team that can hit you in different ways.
In Washington, Justin Herbert took the stage and threw four touchdowns, stealing a big game against the Huskies. A week later, it was tailback CJ Verdell with 257 rushing yards and three scores in the win over Washington State.
It doesn’t hurt to have a speedy and aggressive defense. The Ducks defense has allowed 14.8 points per game this season, which is the second-best number inside the Pac-12, only behind Utah. They also lead the nation with 14 interceptions.
USC Trojans’ Edge Against Oregon
It hasn’t been the kind of season the Trojans were expecting, but the program has shown some decisive moments throughout the year. Beating Utah must be the number one on the list. The Utes are not national contenders due to that result.
While USC tries to find something positive for the future, the team is more than happy to play the part of the judge inside the Pac-12. See, a team like Oregon doesn’t consider the Trojans a Pac-12 title menace, but they sure are uncomfortable to have them in their schedule.
Motivated Offense After 2-Game Win Streak
The Trojans have won their last two games averaging 38.0 points per game in the wins over Arizona and Colorado. During those two wins, freshman QB Kedon Slovis posted six touchdowns passes and just one pick.
Slovis improved his season numbers to 13 TDs and 5 INTs. It is not a bad ratio considering he got thrown into the starting job without much preparation after the week one injury suffered by JT Daniels.
Oregon At USC NCAAF Week 10 Prediction
USC wants to play the part of a spoiler. Despite their excellent momentum, I don’t think they have enough talent to upset Oregon outright.
Kedon Slovis has been very good as a backup quarterback, but a lot of times, he forces the ball down the field. As I mentioned, Oregon leads the nation in interceptions, and their secondary defense should end up with a couple of picks.
It will be a fun game, but Oregon should leave the Coliseum with a solid win. Bet Ducks -4.5.
Our NCAAF Pick: Oregon Ducks -4.5
