Rams Vs. Saints Predictions – Conference Championship Betting Odds | Lines

The New Orleans Saints were responsible for giving the Los Angeles Rams their first loss of the season in week nine. The stakes are a little higher as they meet again in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for a trip to the Super Bowl. The betting line opened with the Saints as 3.5-point favorites but it dropped half a point. MyBookie.ag currently has New Orleans as a 3-point favorite as 51% of the betting public is taking the road team. The game total is now at 57 points. In other markets, it has moved half a point but at MyBookie.ag it has stayed the same.
LA Rams Vs. New Orleans Saints Conference Championship Picks
When these two teams met in week nine, they combined for 80 points total as the Saints won 45-35. It was a thriller but it might look a lot different this time. The Rams were missing cornerback Aqib Talib, and Saints wideout stud Michael Thomas torched them for 211 receiving yards and a score. With Talib back, it is highly unlikely for this to happen again. The Saints will try to have a balanced offense running the ball with Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram. The Rams run defense was awful all season, except last week, when defensive coordinator made Cowboys tailback Ezekiel Elliott an afterthought. Zeke couldn’t even reach the 50 rushing yards.
On the other side of the ball is all about the Rams rushing attack. Los Angeles destroyed Dallas last week, running for 273 yards between Todd Gurley and the new little tank in the backfield, CJ Anderson. CJ looks like he ate a buffet before jumping on the field, but he gets the job done. Gurley (knee) has been limited in practice, but against the Cowboys, he had a couple of runs where looked healthy and unstoppable. New Orleans is dealing with a few critical injuries that might be a concern. Left guard Andrus Peat (hand), right tackle Ryan Ramczyk (shoulder) and center Max Unger (knee) were not full participants in practice. This is mainly a problem when you have to face two forces like Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh. The Saints will also miss DT Sheldon Rankins (Achilles) who is one of the best stopping the run.
I know Drew Brees is 6-0 in the Super Dome playing in the playoffs, but that just tells you he doesn’t play these games at home very often. This will be only the second NFC Championship game on his career. I believe the Rams are more equipped to beat the Saints now than they were in week nine. What’s the play? Rams +3.
