The betting line opened with the Niners -9 in Arizona. San Francisco 49ers have been so dominant over the past few weeks that 70% of bets coming in are on their side.
There are a few markets where you can still find the 49ers at -9.5, but most of them have listed San Francisco -10. Some even have them at -10.5.
The San Francisco 49ers’ Edge Vs. Arizona
When your team is 7-0 and is coming off a 55-13 win, there must be a lot of things you are doing right.
San Francisco has played against a weak schedule, but less than half of the league has a winning record. So, the weak schedule narrative works for a lot of teams. What we do know is the 49ers have the best total defense in the NFL entering Week 9.
They held the Panthers to 230 total yards last Sunday while intercepting QB Kyle Allen three times. Since giving up 20 points to the Steelers in Week 3, San Francisco is allowing 5.7 points per game in the last four outings.
The defense might be licking their chops knowing they are about to face a Cardinals offense that has allowed the third-most sacks in the NFL.

The offensive side is excellent as well, although it is clear the defense has stolen all the headlines. The Niners have the second-best rushing unit in the NFL.
They proved it by recording 238 rushing yards against Panthers, along four rushing TDs from tailback Tevin Coleman.
The Arizona Cardinals’ Edge Vs. The 49ers
The Cardinals are getting 10 points at home during a short week. It’s impossible not to feel tempted to grab the points and ride the underdog. But can they compete against San Francisco?
There are a couple of factors that can make this a close game. First, Arizona’s defense has improved rushing the passer. They have recorded 22 sacks this season, and DE Chandler Jones is third in the league with 8.5 sacks so far.

It helps LB Jordan Hicks is as versatile as he is covering a lot of ground this season. He’s second in the NFL with 79 tackles, has forced two fumbles and recorded one interception.
Jones and Hicks can create mismatches trying to make QB Jimmy Garoppolo uncomfortable inside the pocket. As good as the Niners are, Jimmy G seems to be the weak link on this team.
He has already thrown seven interceptions this year, which is the third-worst number in the NFL. The other factor is to let QB Kyler Murray be.
The rookie has uncanny scrambling abilities alongside a precise arm. Murray won’t be comfortable inside the pocket, but if he can find room to scramble, he might put the 49ers defense on their heels.
San Francisco 49ers Vs. Arizona Cardinals Week 9 Prediction
The 49ers’ Defense On The Road
The battle between San Francisco’s pass rush and the Arizona Cardinals offensive line looks like a massive mismatch in favor of the Niners. Their defense is rolling this season, and the entire team is starting to believe they might have something special this year.
San Francisco is no longer thinking about just getting to the playoffs, but instead, it’s about winning the number one seed in the NFC to get to the Super Bowl.
Laying down 10 points on the road against a divisional opponent is a lot to ask, but there is a massive difference in talent and momentum between these two teams.
While Arizona is trying to find an identity, San Francisco is enjoying a loaded squad hungry blood on Halloween night. Bet Niners -10.
