STP 500 Predictions – Betting On NASCAR | 2019 Odds & Lines

2019 STP 500 Betting Odds

We are back betting to another NASCAR race this weekend. STP 500 will take place this Sunday on March 24th at 2:00 p.m. in Virginia. Let’s take a look at the odds and see which drivers are worth putting some money on. Kyle Busch has been on the roll over the last couple of weeks. After winning in Phoenix at the Ticket Guardian 500, I did bet $150 on him at +400, Busch remained hot with another win last Sunday at Auto Club 400.

He made NASCAR history by notching his 200th career victory, the second driver in NASCAR history to do so, thus joining NASCAR Hall of Famer Richard Petty in that accolade. Given that, now he is the favorite to win NASCAR Monster Energy Series in 2019.

It would be hard not to say he must be considered the favorite in every NASCAR race until he cools off, which hasn’t happened yet since the 2nd place at Daytona 500. Busch has finished inside the top six in all of his five starts so far this season. He is at +200 to win STP 500. It is hard to be a contrarian here and not bet on him to win his 3rd in the row. I will be a bit conservative and only put $150 on Kyle to take the win at MyBookie Sportsbook.

Which Driver Will Win STP 500 In 2019?

We have gotten Kyle out of the way and we can talk about who else may be in the play to cool him off.  Joe Logano tends to be the usual suspect that follow Kyle around. He finished just behind of Busch last Sunday for the 2nd spot. He didn’t get a win but he’s now headed to Martinsville Ridgeway with three top 5 finishes this season under his belt, including a win at Pennzoil 400. Logano has won just once in 20 races at Martinsville. He finished third in last year’s edition of the STP 100. I am betting $200 at +600 for Joe to end Kyle’s winning streak.

Another “hot drivers” Keselowski would be talked about a lot more if Busch wasn’t stealing the wins and headlines. He has placed third or better in three of his last four races. He’s been one of the best drivers on the circuit this season and is +400 to win the Series in 2019. Brad has won here in 2017 and finished fifth or better in six of his last eight starts at Martinsville Speedway. Overall, he has the second-best average driver finish at Martinsville. Given this, I am putting $150 on him at +500 to take the win at STP 500.
