Baylor’s two losses against Oklahoma were too much to handle. The program aimed for a playoffs’ spot, but losing a 25-point lead in the first meeting against the Sooners ended up costing them their postseason dreams.
Baylor Depends More On Their Offense
Like a good Big 12 team, the Bears based their success on the offensive side of the ball. The team averaged 35.2 points per game while allowing 19.2 PPG. Four times in 2019, they scored over 40 points.
The guy you should keep an eye on is WR Denzel Mims, who was a baller during the regular season. Mims is expected to play his last game with Baylor, after posting 945 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns during his senior year.
Georgia Vs. Baylor Sugar Bowl Prediction
Baylor’s offense has been the driven force of this program all season, but they stalled against the Sooners in the Big 12 Championship games. A lot had to do with injuries, but even with that excuse, it didn’t look very reassuring.
Georgia is a different animal. They are not College Football Playoffs good, but they are a program that will run all over you if you are not ready.
