Green Bay heads to the nation’s capital to take on the Redskins on Sunday Night Football in Week 11. It will be the first meeting between these two teams since the Packers won 35-18 in last year’s Wild Card playoff round in January.
The odds opened in this game with the Redskins as -2 favorites at home. The Packers have gotten about 60 percent of wagers so far, but the odds have moved in the opposite direction. As of this writing, the odds at BetOnline.ag are Green Bay +2.5 (+105) and Washington -2.5 (-125).

The Packers – What Has Gone Wrong?
Green Bay may not have been at the top of everyone’s list for potential Super Bowl champions this coming season, even out of the NFC, but few would argue against them making the playoffs and being contenders.
That talk has come to an end, as the Packers may be now fighting for a playoff berth after dropping three straight games. Their record fell to 4-5 after being blown out 47-25 at Tennessee last week.
The Redskins – Quietly Putting Something Together
After winning the division last year, Washington hasn’t gotten much hype. The Josh Norman signing seems to be a huge success, and Kirk Cousins and this offense have been above-average, but no one seems to be wowed by this team. It may be because they’re kind of boring.
However, after losing their first two games on the season, the Redskins have been one of the best teams in the NFL. They won in a tough overtime victory last week against the visiting Vikings, 26-20. The win improved their record to 5-3-1 on the season. However, that’s still third in the division behind the NFL-leading Cowboys (7-1) and the Giants (6-3).
Green Bay has been playing poorly lately, but this is as good of a bounce back spot as any. The Packers offense has been much maligned this season, with good reason. They’ve been awful, despite many positive game scripts, where Aaron Rodgers has had the opportunity to bring his team back.
Their offensive line got a little less healthy this week, but running back, James Starks, is expected to see a larger role in the backfield. The lack of a true running back has hurt Green Bay, and should allow them to be a bit more balanced this weekend.
I’d like to get them at +3, but those odds are gone at most sportsbooks. Perhaps the odds will change closer to kickoff. This game isn’t one of my favorite on that slate, however. The under is also in consideration as a play for me.
Pick: Packers +2.5
