A rematch that’s been in the works for 3 years now is finally reaching its culmination as reigning Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya (-245) is set to face off against his second ever UFC opponent, Marvin Vettori (+195).
In their last match, the fight resulted in a split decision going Adesanya’s way, but both fighters have grown a lot since that moment.
Let’s just get to it, Israel Adesanya has established himself as one of the greatest UFC fighters in his brief time with the company and as one of the greatest fighters of all time.
Marvin Vettori is the most challenging competition he will have faced at middleweight, yet Adesanya should still win this with relative ease.
The fact bettors are getting only a (-245) Moneyline in comparison to the standard (-400) or worse odds he receives from UFC Sportsbooks, only makes it more exciting to bet Adesanya in this bout.
Why We See Adesanya As The Winner?
Adesanya’s only loss in the UFC came to the Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz, who used his massive size advantage to keep Adesanya grounded most of the fight.

Adesanya will not allow Vettori to take him down twice, nevertheless 13 times. As a result, Adesanya will keep his distance, pick his strikes, and keep Vettori as a contender rather than a champion. Until Adesanya leaves the division, it truly is hard to see anybody else being champion.
With an excellent value for bettors on Adesanya’s Moneyline (-260), he remains an obvious choice to bet for this main event.
Deiveson Figueiredo Vs. Brandon Moreno Betting Odds & Prediction

The co-main event will be highly anticipated as the first fight between the two as the main event of UFC 256 was one of the best fights of 2020.
This rematch has high stakes as it was the first time we have seen Deiveson Figueiredo (-240) in trouble when defending the belt.
In previous matches, Figueiredo had submitted Joseph Benavidez and Alex Perez in the first round and could walk out without a scratch on him.
However, from the moment Brandon Moreno (+190) entered the ring, there was a different feeling about the match. Usually, when Figueiredo begins his early bombardment of strikes, nobody quite has an answer for it.
Still, Moreno early and often was piecing up Figueiredo and had made his longshot odds near even early on.
The rest of the fight was a dogfight, and it was tough to pick a definitive winner. As a result, the judges had a majority draw decision for the match, and Figueiredo was able to keep the belt.
What We See Happening In This Fight?
This time around, Moreno is in a much better position to get it done.
Forget the fact that he looks like McLovin’ from Superbad, and you will see a fighter with an absurd amount of poise, a wide variety of skills, and most importantly against a fighter of Figuredio’s ability, equipped with a very tough chin.
It seemed as if Figueiredo was almost frustrated with the lack of response to Moreno’s damage, which confused him for a lot of the fight.
Moreno knows that Figueiredo wants to finish him early with more time training and a read on how Figuereido fights.
If he could fight the first two rounds and tire Figueiredo conservatively out, he will have a much better chance of finding a lapse of judgment in the distance and landing a knockout blow. This would open great opportunities for an MMA round bet.
Figueiredo is an animal in his respective right and deserves to be favored in this match. Still, with a price tag as hefty as -240, I’m just not seeing much value from riding with Figueiredo on this one when we saw that Moreno is very capable of going five rounds.
Figueiredo has had a brilliant run as the Flyweight Champion, but the nod here goes to the youngster Moreno with a juicy plus Moneyline (+190).
Leon Edwards Vs. Nate Diaz Betting Odds & Prediction

The first of the three big fights starts with the return of the infamous Nate Diaz (+375). He is one of the most unconventional fighters in all of the sports, preferring to smack opponents then throw small jabs, and has been known to have one of the toughest chins in all of the sport.
The last time he fought ended in a controversy as the doctors decided Diaz could not continue, although he was very ready to continue getting after Jorge Masvidal. As a result, he’s been hungry and training for his next opportunity, which will finally come in the form of a very tough competitor in Leon Edwards (-550).
Leon Edwards is an absurd 8-0 since his fight against reigning Middleweight champion Kamaru Usman, but has never gotten a title shot.
Dana White is ready for the next step, though, as if Edwards beats a brand name like Diaz and strengthens his record to 9-0, it would be nearly impossible to argue that a rematch versus Usman would be the right fight to book.
Edwards is known for his tactical approach to the sport, not delivering the maximum damage but rather on landing significant strikes, taking care of the ground game, and pressuring the opposing fighter with submission attempts.
However, Edwards has only had a finish in two of his last eight matches and it should be noted facing someone with a high pain threshold such as Diaz.
What Is The Best Bet To Place?
In terms of how the two match up, Diaz is an older, slower fighter that relies on haymakers and submissions to do the job rather than someone who takes all the technical aspects into a fight into consideration.
For Diaz, this fight will either result in a knockout for a win or a loss by decision.
There isn’t much wiggle room, and because of that, Edwards is a massive favorite in this bout. Edwards is too fast, too technical, and too hungry for a title shot to lose this match and has threatened to “batter” Diaz, a side we don’t see out of Edwards quite often.
With a motive to put down his opponent and all the skills in the world to get it done, Edwards, even with the ridiculous price tag, is worth the wager.
However, when props and UFC over under bets come out, consider parlaying the over in this fight or taking Edwards in a decision prop bet. It is the surefire most excellent chance of giving better odds for more value.
