Oregon is out of the College Football playoffs, but nothing would feel better than beating Utah and stealing their postseason dreams as well.

Both Utah and Oregon have been the best teams inside the Pac-12 from start to finish. The Pac-12 conference championship game is the right place to decide which team is better.

What The NCAAF Odds Say About The Utah Vs Oregon Matchup

The opening line for this game was set to -4, but it moved to -6 quickly, and it’s now at -6.5 in favor of the Utes in most markets.

Even with the line going north, 58% of the betting public is taking Utah to cover the spread in this PAC-12 conference championship matchup.

The Utah Utes’ Edge Vs. Oregon

The Utes haven’t lost in eight games. Their loss to USC back in September feels like ages ago.

Last week against Colorado, Utah showed that they might deserve a playoff game if the Championship games help them out, especially if Georgia loses to LSU.

Impressive Resume

Utah has averaged 39.4 points per game in the last five wins against Cal, Washington, UCLA, Arizona, and Colorado. In their resume, there is only one win over a ranked team, and that was against Arizona State. Oregon could be their second.

The team has done an excellent job rushing the football lately. Against the Buffaloes, they ran for 207 yards, against Arizona for 297 and vs. UCLA, for 201. The Utes are pounding the football, and it’s been really hard to stop over the last month.

It doesn’t hurt that QB Tyler Huntley has been so efficient either. He has thrown just 16 touchdowns this season, which is a low number compared to other elite QB, but he has been picked just twice.

The Oregon Ducks’ Edge Vs. Utah

The Ducks have no shot at the playoffs, but winning the Conference Championship is good enough reward for a great season.

Oregon has won ten of the last 11 games, losing only to Arizona State in a thriller two weeks ago. The Ducks bounced back with a 24-10 win over Oregon State last week.

QB Justin Herbert remains the key to the Ducks offense. He has thrown for 3140 yards 31 touchdowns this season. Before Herbert starts thinking about the NFL draft, he would love to deliver a Pac-12 title to Oregon.

The Ducks have had problems with mobile quarterbacks all season, but they are also getting 6.5 points by the oddsmakers. It seems like a huge number for a Championship game between two teams that have been trading places to be considered the best inside the Pac-12.

Utah Utes Vs. Oregon Ducks NCAAF Picks

Oregon and Utah are the two best teams in the Pac-12, but the Utes are playing a little better. Their running game is good enough to dominate a game from start to finish.

However, the Ducks do have a lot of talent in the offense to attack and score quickly.

While Utah will score running the football, Justin Herbert will respond with quick strikes. The game should be fun and close. The 6.5 given are too good not to take them. Bet Oregon +6.5.

Our NCAAF Pick: Oregon +6.5
