BitcoinRush.io Sportsbook Review
BitcoinRush.io is somewhat unique in the bitcoin world. They are a product of Havelock Investments, an investing firm that specializes in bitcoin ventures and offers investment opportunities on all of their properties. BitcoinRush.io like the rest of Havelock’s properties is based in Panama. Their service staff and servers are both located in the Central American nation. In addition to an online sportsbook, Bitcoin Rush offers a dice game and a provably fair online casino.

A Personal Opinion on BitcoinRush.io Sportsbook
What We Like About Bitcoin Rush
Their odds are certainly competitive and match many other sportsbooks more competitive bitcoin-based sportsbooks, including Nitrogen, in terms of savings. They offer reduced juice for some major markets and haven’t had many any hiccups in terms of payment processing. Their inception in 2013 is actually gives them quite the leg up on much on the competition in bitcoin sports betting markets. Many bitcoin sportsbooks first opened their doors in 2014 and have already closed their doors in the time that Bitcoin Rush has been in operations.
The Havelock Investments side of things also gives us a bit more confidence when it comes to consumer protections and their ability to payout if things go haywire. Havelock has closed BTC properties before and all players were paid when the defunct site closed its doors.
Players can also invest in Bitcoin Rush on their site by simply making an account at Havelock and buying shares of the company. They can read monthly reports on profits and be paid dividends on their investments. There’s a legitimate business entity backing Bitcoin Rush and that gives us a bit more confidence in them over the long haul.
What We Don’t Like About Bitcoin Rush
Although their odds are generally competitive, they are lacking in several areas. Their betting markets are lacking and are highly North American focused, and more specifically on sports in the United States. This is not a sportsbook if you’re looking for odds on smaller market sports or overseas markets.
They also have subpar betting software compared to most other sites. It still functions correctly but doesn’t offer the sleek look and new age interface that many other bookmakers offer. Management has stated in their Bitcoin Talk Forum Thread, that new betting software will be online before the start of the 2015-16 NFL Season in September.
Betting limits are also quite low for the time being. Management has stated that these low betting limits are in place to “manage risk effectively” and that they will increase once the new betting software platform is launched in the fall. These low limits are undoubtedly a drawback for those that want to bet big. They would likely be better off choosing another sportsbook. However, a sportsbook that is concerned about risk management is a good sign for its financial stability.
Their team doesn’t seem like a fly by night operation, something that has plagued the bitcoin gambling community since the crypto-currency exploded in popularity the past few years. It’s a blow to larger stakes players, but shouldn’t been seen as a knock on the sportsbook as a whole. Minimizing exposure and ramping up betting limits in due time is simply smart business.

BitcoinRush.io Sportbook – Deposits and Withdrawals
Deposits at Bitcoin Rush require zero confirmations, meaning that they are usually credited instantly as players send their bitcoins. There is no requirement of any personal information when creating account. Users simply need a user-name and password to deposit bitcoins. An email address for password recovery is optional. They also offer two-factor authorization for added security.
Withdrawal requests are mostly instant as well. Occasionally, they can take up to 24 hours to process, but this usually because management needs to add more bitcoins into their hot wallet for deposits and withdraws from their offline reserves.
BitcoinRush.io Review Highlights
Interface and Betting Markets
As mentioned above, the betting software at Bitcoin Rush isn’t anything special. In fact, it’s subpar compared to just about every other betting site on the web. Bettors will occasionally click a dead link and will be unimpressed with the platform as a whole. However, it functions admirably for the most part. Bettors should have no issues placing wagers in a matter of seconds in almost all cases. It’s clearly due for an upgrade, which will be coming in fall of this 2015.
Wagering options are heavily geared towards Americans and Canadians. The vast majority of markets will be focused on the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, along college basketball and football. Soccer is also widely represented. They don’t have leagues from everywhere around the world, but do cover some of South American, most of Europe and international contests. They also offer odds on tennis, boxing and mixed martial arts.
Their available bets for each contest are somewhat small compared to other sites. We’re basically looking at sides and totals, and first half and halftime lines. Live betting has been shelved till their re-launch with upgraded software in September. There isn’t much in terms of player and team propositions or alternative markets. They don’t offer basketball or football teasers, which may drop them down quite a bit for some bettors, but they do provide the ability to buy points.
Overall, particularly compared to other BTC competitors like Nitrogen Sports or CloudBet, their betting options are severely lacking. The reduced juice markets and odds are excellent as a whole, but bettors looking for a large number of betting options will be disappointed.
Wagering Limits at Bitcoinrush.io
Though Bitcoin Rush says they have 20 BTC limits for major markets, this information is outdated. Currently, the betting limits are around 3-5 BTC for most markets. These quite low compared to other sportsbooks, and lesser known sports, such as tennis and soccer may be even lower.
As with much of what we have mentioned in our review, management has said these limits will increase once they launch their new software in time for the start of the NFL Season. This seems likely, especially when you consider they had these limits in place during while CasinoBitcoin.in was their main operation.
Bitcoinrush.io Sportsbook Support
This is an area where they could use some improvement. For quick answers and fast support, Bitcoin Rush lags from behind others in the industry. Email support is the only way to contact support and they can often take 24 hours to respond. Players’ best means of getting an answer quickly may be the Bitcoin Talk Forum thread we leaked to above.
Bitcoinrush.io Review Summary
Bitcoin Rush in its current form isn’t a top option for bitcoin sports betting but it absolutely is a realistic one. The Havelock Investment aspect is one vital reason we have a bit more faith in this site compared to other bitcoin outfits. Despite their small number of markets, their odds are mostly excellent and their betting limits should once again be upgraded soon. We are eagerly looking forward to their new software and platform launch this fall and will update our review accordingly.
