VegasCasino.io Sportsbook Review

VegasCasino.io Review Summary

Sports Betting Site VegasCasino.io LogoVegasCasino.io was initially launched in May 2015 but has already expanded rapidly. Here in the VegasCasino.io review we start from the begining: Originally an online casino site, they added an online sportsbook to their already extensive casino, live casino, and lottery offerings.

Vegas Casino is rumored to have a team with a lot of experience in the industry, but like many sites that are Bitcoin-only, there isn’t much information about their location, but it appears they operate out of Costa Rica and under the company, Vegas Royal S.A. They use a highly successfully white label product for their betting software, CoinGaming.io. Vegas Casino accepts players from all over the world. However, unlike most Bitcoin sites, which pride themselves on anonymity, they require a bit more information at sign up. Aside from picking a username and password, an email, and date of birth is required. As far as we can tell, there are no restricted countries. The only thing that seems to be necessary to play at VegasCasino.io is that you’re 18 or older.

A Personal Opinion On VegasCasino.io

What We Don’t Like About VegasCasino.io

Their short track record is still a negative. Since Vegas Casino can’t speed up time, it’s not their fault that their time in the industry is being held against them, but that’s just the way things are. There have been way too many people burned by new betting sites, especially when it comes to Bitcoin. To put it simply, their odds just aren’t very good. In fact, they’re among the poorest we’ve seen online. Their promotions and specials can make some markets worth betting, but the vast majority of what we saw was not good

We wrote our Vegas Casino review in late May 2016, so we didn’t have a chance to see NFL odds, but from what we saw from the baseball markets – it looks like a clear avoid. They had no dime lines, and many large favorites and underdogs had more than a 40 cent difference. It doesn’t mean there isn’t any value in their markets, but from what we saw, Vegas Casino has an extremely high vig on most of their odds.

VegasCasino.io Review Highlights

Interface

Their interface is pretty standard. Nothing stands out, but there are no massive drawbacks either. It’s a pretty ho-hum interface. The markets are listed on the left-hand side and your bet slip is on the right. They have three odds types. The default set is American, but they also have fractional and decimal odds.

VegasCasino.io Main Page Landing Page - Betting Interface

Lots of Markets, Poor Odds

For a relatively small bookmaker, the number of sports they offer is impressive. They have a list of featured betting lines that are the most popular sports of the day. They are certainly trying to cater to Americans, but also have a large list of European and worldwide sports. They have live betting in addition to pre-match betting. This is available at virtually every fiat-based bookmaker on the web, but not a mainstay at BTC sites, so kudos for them for incorporating in-play betting. It seems that all or most of the events available for pre-match wagering can also be via in-play.

Vegas Casino doesn’t do too bad of a job when it comes to markets. Live betting options aren’t as vast as the larger bookmakers, but they do offer a bit more than just adjusted sides and totals. Large events, such as top-flight soccer, including international contests, and stuff like NFL football can have 30 or more betting markets. Betting types are where they run into trouble. The only bet types have available or singles (straight bets) or parlays. We hope to see some more options in the future. As mentioned above, their odds aren’t great. However, they do have a lot of markets, so with proper line shopping, you may find something. Overall, though, there doesn’t look like there is much.

Extremely Low Wagering Limits

The wagering limits at Vegas Casino are small. Their minimum bet is 3 mBTC, which is equal to 0.0003 BTC. This amounts to about a little over a dollar in USD. The maximum bet is 500 mBTC which amounts to about 0.5 BTC. In today’s market, that’s about $225. Betting limits vary depending on the event, but as you can probably guess, these are among the lowest online. Smaller markets will have extremely low limits, but more popular ones should be up near the 500 mBTC. For what it’s worth, we did speak to support via live chat and they told us that there would be new sportsbook software premiering in a few weeks, which would come with increased betting limits.

VegasCasino.io Has Excellent Support

Support is one of the best Vegas Casino. They have a thread available at Bitcoin talk, but they are also reachable through email and live chat. Support is 24/7, 365 days a year. Our questions in live chat were answered immediately. Other customers have sung their praises in the Bitcoin Talk thread.

Super-Fast Withdrawals

According to players and speeds quoted from their website, Vegas Casino is one of the fastest online. Their deposits only require a single confirmation and withdrawals are processed nearly instantly. Players have reported receiving Bitcoins back to their wallet in just five minutes.

Overall – Vegas Casino Review

VegasCasino.io is doing the right things so far. They have fast withdrawals, excellent support, and little to no complaints from customers about their service. Unfortunately, unless you’re a casino player, there isn’t much here. Their odds just simply aren’t very good. There are a ton of other options in the Bitcoin sports betting market with much better odds.
