After losing the biggest game of the year last season, the Los Angeles Rams will try to avoid the Super Bowl hangover to be back on top of the NFC West division.
Perhaps even with a little luck, they will back in Super Bowl contention in 2019. The Rams have most of their core back for another run at the title, but there are concerns about the health of RB Todd Gurley.

From the team that appeared in Super Bowl 53, the Rams lost a few good players.
The DT Ndamukong Suh is now with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and RB CJ Anderson moved to Detroit.
Two low key losses are G Rodger Saffold and S Lamarcus Joyner.
The team did add veteran LB Clay Matthews to help in the middle of the defense, along with one of the most respected safety in the league, Eric Weddle.
Los Angeles Rams 2019 NFL Draft
The Rams ended up making a lot of moves on draft weekend. They traded their first-round pick to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for a second-round pick and a third.
Their first pick of the draft was safety Taylor Rapp from Washington in the second round. They also added RB Darrell Henderson with a third-round pick from Memphis.
Henderson’s addition comes as a safety blanket if Todd Gurley is not 100% ready for the start of the season.
2019 Los Angeles Rams Schedule Analysis
The start for another Super Bowl run for the Rams will be on the road against Carolina Panthers. It will be the first of three games they have to endure against NFC South teams in the first month.
Their week two meeting against the New Orleans Saints will be a reedition of the controversial NFC title game from last season.
The Rams also must deal with the AFC North teams, along the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears as opponents outside the division.
The Rams have six primetime games, including meetings against the Cleveland Browns, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Chicago Bears. They also face the Seattle Seahawks twice on National Television.
