The Colts will need a perfect game to upset the red-hot Buffalo Bills. Indianapolis closed the season by winning four of their last five games.
Two wins against Houston, one against Las Vegas, and another vs. Jacksonville are not impressive. Their one loss came in Pittsburgh after letting a 17-point advantage slip away in the third quarter.
Indy’s best weapon on offense is rookie RB Jonathan Taylor. He finished the season with the third-most rushing yards at 1169, including 250 yards and two scores against Jacksonville in Week 17.
The Colts lost OT Anthony Castonzo (ankle) for the season a week ago, but they didn’t miss him against the Jags.
Buffalo’s offensive game remains strong
No team in the NFL is playing offensive football like Buffalo in the last two months. The Bills have won nine of their last ten games, with the one loss coming on a Hail Mary play in Arizona.
Buffalo has won their last six games by a double-digit margin and has scored 47.3 points per game in the regular season’s final three victories.
That includes a 56-26 destruction to Miami despite the starters only played half of the game.
Josh Allen set career numbers in 2020 with 4544 yards, 37 TDs while completing 72.0% of his passes. He could be the MVP in a world where Aaron Rodgers doesn’t exist.

– 4,544 passing yards
– 45 total touchdowns
– 69.2 completion pct
– Set franchise record for pass yards
– Set franchise record for pass TD
– Led team to 13-3 record

The betting line for this game opened with the Bills -7, but now we can find Buffalo -6.5.
LA Rams (10-6) at Seattle Seahawks (12-4)

The Rams and Seahawks will clash for the third time this season. Each team won at home, but Seattle won the division and got to host the wildcard game.

The line opened with the Seahawks -4.5, but it has climbed to -5 in most sportsbooks. The LA Rams haven’t mentioned if QB Jared Goff will be available for this meeting.
Goff underwent thumb surgery on his throwing hand and missed the Week 17 matchup against Arizona. Last year Saints’ QB Drew Brees had the same type of injury and missed a month.
It’s unlikely Goff will be available for Sunday.
Wolford’s Playoffs Enigma
If he’s out, then the ex AFF QB John Wolford will be under center for the second time in his career. Wolford completed 22 of 38 passes for 231 yards against the Cardinals. He also added 56 rushing yards in six carries.
John Wolford’s first pass in the NFL was intercepted against Arizona. But after that, he settled down and had a decent outing.
Seattle’s defense has allowed 15.0 points per game in the last six games, improving from the season’s horrendous start. Yet, those rivals were three NFC East teams, the Jets, the 49ers with their 3rd string QB, and the Rams.
The Seahawks listed SS Jamal Adams (shoulder) and DT Jarran Reed (oblique) as questionable for Saturday.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11-5) at Washington (7-9)

For the third time in history, an NFL team with a losing record will host a playoff game. The previous two times, the team with the under .500 record won straight up. HC Ron Rivera, who oversees Washington led one of those teams.
The Buccaneers opened -7.5, but the line now is -8. Tampa Bay closed the season by winning their last four while scoring 37.0 points per game in those wins. The victories were against the weak Vikings, Falcons (twice), and Lions.
43 Touchdowns At 43
The Bucs finished the season with the second-most passing yards in the league and the third-best scoring offense. Tom Brady recorded 43 total touchdowns at 43-years old. An unheard number for his age.
However, two things will make this game interesting. First, WR Mike Evans is questionable with a knee injury. Evans left the game against Atlanta after he stepped awkwardly. He’s day-to-day.
GREAT news for Bucs: Bruce Arians says Mike Evans’ MRI showed no structural damage, it’s a hyperextension of his knee. Very little swelling, Evans will be day to day. #GoBucs— Sara Walsh (@Sara_Walsh) January 4, 2021
Second, Washington has the type of front seven that could give Brady problems. The Football team recorded 47 sacks this season and allowed the second-fewest passing yards in the league with just 191.8 per game.
Washington closed the season by winning five of the last seven games. Their two losses against Seattle and Carolina were by no more than a touchdown.
Also, Tampa Bay won’t have star LB Devin White for this game. White tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday, and league rules say he needs to be out at least ten days.
Baltimore Ravens (11-5) at Tennessee Titans (11-5)

Ravens and Titans played twice in 2020, with Tennessee coming on top both times on the road. When they met in Week 11, the Titans were down by 11 points in the third quarter before Derrick Henry took over the game.
Henry has recorded 328 rushing yards and a touchdown in the last two games against the Ravens defense. He also threw for another TD.
He could be a little gassed from a Week 17 effort that saw him carried the ball 34 times for 250 yards and two scores against Houston. With that performance, Derrick Henry became the 8th player in NFL history to run for 2000 yards.

The Titans’ passing defense is the fourth-worst in the NFL in 2020, allowing 277.4 passing yards per game. The good news is Baltimore’s offense is dead last in passing yards with 171.1 yds per game.
The Ravens won five games in a row to close the regular season. Baltimore averaged 37.2 points per game in those meetings.
Their opponents were the not so impressive Cowboys, Jaguars, Giants, and Bengals. The only good win in that span was against the Browns on Monday Night Football.
Baltimore is -3.5 at Betnow. It’s the same number where the line opened, but it has been moving up and down all week.
Chicago Bears (8-8) at New Orleans Saints (12-4)

The Bears made it to the playoffs with a .500 record after Arizona failed to beat the LA Rams in Week 17. Chicago is an interesting team, winning three of their last four since the return of Mitch Trubisky.
Against the Packers, they had 30 more plays than Green Bay but failed to find the endzone and lost by 19 points. When you look at the raw stats, it’s a weird result to explain.
Now the Bears will face New Orleans for the second time in the season. Chicago lost at home to the Saints in Week 8, but Nick Foles was under center in that meeting.
New Orleans is -10 after opening -10.5 in most markets. The Saints closed the season by winning two in a row against Minnesota and Carolina.
RB Alvin Kamara will be eligible to return from the reserve/COVID-19, while WR Michael Thomas will also be back from injured reserve. Kamara, however, won’t practice with the team during the week.

Several reports mention this could be the last game of Drew Brees’ career. After this season, he will become a TV analyst for NBC.

The Browns and Steelers will go at it for the third time this season and second week in a row. They split the series, but Pittsburgh rested six starters last week, including QB Ben Roethlisberger. The playoffs matchup will be entirely different.
The Steelers opened -3.5, but the line moved, and now Pittsburgh is -5 at BetNow. There are places where you can find them at -4.5.
The Browns will go to Pittsburgh without their head coach Kevin Stefanski, who tested positive for COVID-19. Special Teams Coordinator Mike Priefer will serve as the acting head coach.

Cleveland won’t have DE Olivier Vernon for the playoffs either. Vernon suffered a ruptured Achilles on Sunday. He had nine sacks this season and was a key part of the Browns defensive line.
Pittsburgh closed the season by losing four of their last five games. Their only win was a coming from behind victory over the Colts in Week 16.
Cleveland split the last four games with wins over the Giants and Steelers while losing to the Ravens and Jets.
