Will The Ravens Win 10 Games?
I do not see them reaching 10 wins and I see a playoff birth as unlikely. I would go with under 8.5 wins.
Baltimore Ravens 2019 Roster Changes
The Ravens made several moves to help their young quarterback. They re-signed TE Nick Boyle to a three-year deal with up to $18 million. Running back was also addressed as the Ravens brought in ex-Saint, Mark Ingram.
Wide receiver is an area of need for the Ravens, as they cut Michael Crabtree and John Brown left in free agency.
Terrell Suggs Out, Earl Thomas In
Gone is long-time Raven Terrell Suggs, who will be missed for his locker room presence, alone.
However, Earl Thomas came over from Seattle and he is one of the game’s all-time greatest safeties. Thomas will give the entire defense an immediate boost. The only knock on him has been his durability, which is important as the Ravens brought him on a $55 million dollar deal.

The Ravens took WR Marquise Brown out of out Oklahoma with their first pick. They managed to trade down and still get a player that should have an immediate impact in their offense.
It’s hard not to like their first pick. They grabbed another receiver in Miles Boykin out of Notre Dame. Many analysts are calling him one of the more underrated wideouts in the draft.
Ravens Second Round Draft Picks
In the second round, they went after an edge rusher, which is now a need for Baltimore after the departure of Suggs and Smith. He may not turn into an elite talent like Suggs, but the La Tech prospect has a ton of upside and all the tools to reach it.
Baltimore Ravens 2019 Schedule And Divisional Competition
According to most strength of schedule metrics, the Ravens have schedule towards the bottom of the league when it comes to competition. However, it does look little imposing. They face both the Patriots and the Chiefs but will at least get New England at home.
Some Games Not As Difficult
Their out-of-conference draw isn’t bad against the NFC West, as there are some poor teams in that division. However, they do have a late season date at L.A. against the Rams.
While you could argue that Pittsburgh has downgraded their roster – the Browns certainly have not. The Bengals are the worst team in the division, but I think Baltimore has a tougher time getting wins in the division this year.
