NFL Draft 2020 Round 2 Prop Bets
The NFL is back tonight for Round 2 and luckily, one of our top-rated sportsbooks, BetOnline is offering a host of betting markets for the second round of the NFL Draft.
Here are some of our favorite bets for tonight’s action.
Next Safety Picked In The NFL Draft 2nd Round
|Antoine Winfield Jr.||+450|
Delphit was around +300 to go as the second safety yesterday and we’ve now seen those odds increase. To me, the value is certainly there right now and there is chatter that he may be a perfect fit for a team with the No. 41 pick, the Cleveland Browns.
The LSU product has gotten rave reviews from football and draft experts and could easily be the next safety off the board. At +550, I love those odds.
Next Quarterback Picked In The NFL Draft 2nd Round
I thought Hurts was going to go in the top 5 or 6 picks yesterday and I was quite wrong about that. Three quarterbacks were taken in the top six picks, but Hurts was not one of them.
Hurts has some question marks but he has sky-high potential as a developmental player. We may also find an offensive coordinator who falls in love with this guy and how he might fit into his offense.
I am happy to lay a little juice at -120 for the Sooner quarterback to be the next QB taken.
Next Defensive End Picked In The NFL Draft 2nd Round
The draft has some excellent defensive end talent, making it deeper than usual at the position. None of the players left are slam-dunks, in terms of production, but there is still some amazing talent left.
Many thought Iowa DE, A.J. Espenesa, would sneak into the first round, but that didn’t end up happening.
I think he’s easily the most talented defensive end left on the board and at +200. He makes an excellent bet to be the first defensive end taken off the board in Round 2.
Next Wide Reciever Picked In The NFL Draft 2nd Round
This wide receiver class is a deep one and there are a lot of options out there for teams.
This bet is more of a toss-up than others but I still find myself drawn to Laviska Shenault, out of Colorado.
When it comes to breaking tackles, overall toughness, and will to succeed at the next level, there is no one better life in this draft. He even wrote a letter to NFL GMs, describing his unbelievable commitment.
Will The Buccaneers Trade TE OJ Howard Today?
Rob Gronkowski came out retirement and got traded to Buccaneers earlier this week. Since last week, there has been speculation about both Tampa tight ends, OJ Howard and Cameron Brate, in the trade market.
The odds have moved in favor of Howard not being traded, but I still think there is enough of a chance this happens to justify the +600.
I wouldn’t bet a lot on this, but taking a stab at +600 for a quarter of a unit or so makes sense to me.
