The 117th U.S. Open starts Thursday morning in Erin, Wisconsin at Erin Hills. It will be the first time since 2003 the tournament has been held in the Midwest and the first time that the tournament has ever been held in at Erin Hills.
The course seems to be one that rewards power and a strong short game. Although, those without power aren’t out of it. Golfers who can roll the ball as they get closer to the green will certainly be in the mix.
Dustin Johnson to Repeat?
The defending champion certainly has an excellent shot. He’s dominating this year so far, ranking first in the FedEx Cup standings, driving distance and greens in regulation. Johnson is the odds-on favorite to win the U.S. Open.
