CRSportsBet Sportsbook Warning

CRSportsBet scam warning

CRSportsBet scam warningWe’re rooting for more offshore betting options for U.S. players all the time, but it seems one of the newer options has run into trouble. CRSports.ag is a small sportsbook that began taking bets in October 2015. They’re focused on American online betting markets, but do accept players from other parts of the world.

Slow Payouts from CRSportsBet Becoming a Trend

SBR has reported on two issues of late payments at the sportsbook. A player requested $1,009 in late September and had not been paid for two weeks. Another player has been waiting over two months for $2,800 via Bitcoin payout request. Subsequently, SBR has lowered their rating to a D-.

Is CRSportsBet a Safe Option?

They still pay most of their players, but there is a danger that the operator may go under based on recent CRSportsBet player complaints. It’s certainly not the first complaint from players about the sportsbook. At this time, we would avoid depositing at CRSportsBet. They have a few issues, aside from the payout complaints.

For one, we advise and warn players to stay away from newer online sportsbooks, like CRSportsbet. They’re just inherently riskier than many betting sites that have been around for a decade or more. Often, newer operators end up in our scam sportsbooks section in a few years, rather than being a sportsbook we eventually recommend to players.

CRSportsbet has also have been connected to now-defunct scam sportsbook Bet Mayor. The connection to Bet Mayor should be enough to scare players, in general. There are far better options out there that have no connection sportsbooks that closed and stole thousands from players.

Also, their inability to process a few thousand dollars in payouts with Bitcoin is a major red flag. Bitcoin is free or exponentially cheaper than all fiat methods. There can be credit or check processors that go down, but if a sportsbook isn’t processing small payouts with Bitcoin – it’s likely that they just don’t have the money or don’t want to pay. We will continue to monitor the progress on the payouts for CRSportsbet players. For now our warning is to stay away from this betting site, as it could become a CRSportsbet scandal if the trend keeps growing.
