ComeOn is one of the newest online bookmakers and gambling sites on the web. The bookie was established in 2010 and has slowly gained popularity since their inception. They are still a relatively smaller operator compared to some of the larger bookmakers, but they’re right in there competing with the big boys.

ComeOn is a product of Co-Gaming Limited, which is registered in Malta under the laws of the European Union. Their company’s operations, including the running of ComeOn, is overseen by the Malta Gaming Authority.

The sportsbook itself is licensed and regulated by the Government of Curacao, which is located in the Caribbean. ComeOn offers players a traditional sportsbook and live or in-play betting options. They also have a traditional casino and live casino, along with online poker options.

ComeOn is an international bookmaker but doesn’t offer their services to some jurisdictions due to local laws. They do not accept residents of the United States, France, Turkey, Spain, Hungary, Romania, and Portugal.

In May 2016, CalvinAyre.com reported on the sale of ComeOn to Swedish online betting operator Cherry AB. A deal for the acquisition of the two company has been going for months now but appears to be finalized. Cherry AB will pay a total of €280 million for the purchase of ComeOn. It seems that there will be no new changes, at least at the beginning. Both brands will operate separately for the time for the foreseeable future, but that may change down the line.

ComeOn Betting Site – Deposits and Withdrawals

ComeOn has a lot of choices at the cashier. They have a minimum deposit of £7 for all available deposit methods. However, the biggest negative with ComeOn is that they charge for deposits.

Charging for deposits is almost unheard of in today’s international betting market. They charge 2.5% on all credit and debit card deposits. A 5% fee is charged to all e-wallet deposits, including Neteller, Skrill, Ukash, and PaySafeCard.

They do provide players with four free withdrawals per month, but that’s hardly a tradeoff, when at the vast majority of online bookmakers, all deposits and withdrawals are free of charge.

The only free deposit option available is bank transfer or wire.

ComeOn Review – Sportsbook Bonuses

Customers from the United Kingdom will be eligible for a 100% match deposit bonus worth up to £25. This offer is only for players who have opened a new account at ComeOn. They cannot have previously made an account and played under their casino or poker brands.

The minimum deposit to be eligible for the bonus is £10. The wagering requirements have an 8x rollover, which include the bonus and deposit amount. An 8x rollover is extremely poor and is particularly pitiful consider the bonus is a mere £25.

It’s also worth noting that players are excluded from receiving the bonus if they deposit using Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, WebMoney and Ukash. Again, not ideal, considering these are popular deposit options and the preferred methods for many.

Rewards Points and Other Promotions

ComeOn’s shortcoming when it comes to deposit fees and bonuses are a little better when you consider they are one of the few online bookies to provide players with a rewards program. It’s not super lucrative but does give back to players.

Player points are given to players for just about everything, including 25 points for simply logging into your account each day. Customers will also receive points doing stuff like successfully verifying their identification, adding a phone number or successfully requesting a withdrawal.

Of course, you earn points for placing wagers as well. Players will earn around 10 points on single wagers per £0.70 or €1 bet. These can be traded in at the points shop for all kinds of stuff, including bonuses and cash.

The points shop does change their offers frequently, but for instance, players can trade in 25,000 points into a reload bonus up to £300. The points program isn’t going increase your bottom line much, but it’s still better than nothing. In addition to their VIP program, they offer a host of different promotions, including enhanced odds on certain events (usually football) and free bet promos for placing a certain number bets per week.

ComeOn Review Highlights

Aside from being a bit slow at times, ComeOn’s interface is one of the best around. Their pages aren’t jammed packed with offers and promotions like so many other bookmakers. They list their most popular markets on the left, with their full list of sports below it. On the right side is your bet slip, and a few select promotions.

As far as function, and ease of use, their software passes with flying colours. Jumping from pre-match to live betting markets is easy. The only other negative we can find is that they only provide odds in decimal and American odds (moneyline), fractional odds are not available.

ComeOn’s markets are quite impressive for a smaller bookmaker. There isn’t much they don’t have available for betting, and they go far beyond European sports with their odds offered. Their A-Z list of sports available rivals some of the largest and best bookies online.

They don’t skimp on markets either. Just about every sport they have for pre-match wagering is available for in-play betting.

Top flight leagues, such as the English Premier League and other first division leagues have a huge number of markets available for both options. They may have up 100 different betting options for these matches. The number of markets drops for lower divisions or more obscure contests, but most of these still have a dozen or more.

They currently have odds on football, tennis, ice hockey, basketball, handball, baseball, golf, rugby, snooker, racing, darts, cycling, racing, volleyball, boxing, American football, winter sports, beach volleyball, Aussies rules, mixed martial arts, and cricket. There are also specials, which include entertainment and political markets.

One negative here is for greyhound or horse players. ComeOn doesn’t offer any odds on these markets. If that’s something you’re interested in betting on your sports betting account, you will need to find another bookmaker.

ComeOn’s odds are slightly above average on the whole, but are heavily dependent on the sport you’re wagering. Their margins are on football are a mediocre 6.4%, but their overall margins are 5.5%. Their markets with the smallest margins appear to be basketball, baseball, and American football. Hockey has the highest advantage of any sport, at 9.0%.

As far as live betting, they do an excellent job. We already mentioned how many markets they have available, but their interface is top notch as well. The only drawback is that they lack streaming options.

ComeOn is a bookmaker that is focused on recreational punters and isn’t looking to take the action of high stakes gamblers. This isn’t necessarily a negative. We don’t mind a bookie that is mindful of their exposure and want to avoid sharp action – this just good business.

However, it’s important to realize that their maximum winnings per day on all the main markets, including soccer, tennis, basketball and many others is capped at £100,000. Smaller markets, especially propositions will have substantially lower limits.

One of the biggest problems issues with a maximum payout this small is that players often forget to look before it’s too late. Meaning, players miss out on a bigger payday because of the sportsbook’s maximum win because they didn’t look beforehand.

ComeOn is not the sportsbook for the high stakes punter. They’re certainly excellent for a beginner and intermediate bettors as they have a minimum bet of just £0.40, but this is not a high limit sportsbook.

ComeOn Customer Support

ComeOn’s website is available in Finnish, Norwegian, Serbian, Spanish, and Swedish. Depending on the time of day, they may have customer support available in these languages as well.

Support is one of the issues that is most talked about by customers as a complaint. The fact that they don’t offer 24-hour support is a negative, but they are available for most of the day and into the evening.

Email and live chat support are available until 8 pm daily. They do not have a phone number for support. They do have an extensive FAQ that does come in handy.

ComeOn Sportsbook Review – In Summary

ComeOn is an above-average choice in today’s betting market, but they’re far from elite. Normally, a bookmaker that charged up to 5% on deposits would get a pretty scathing review from us, but they do enough to make it up for it with their nearly unlimited markets and competitive odds. They far from our first choice, but they’re easily a top 20 bookmaker.
