Expert View of XBet.ag Sportsbook
XBet.ag is a skin of the popular online sportsbook MyBookie.ag. XBet shares the all management and staff with MyBookie.ag, which is one of the top options for U.S. residents.
XBet Sportsbook Review
XBet.ag is one of the rare new additions to offshore betting markets that has become a reliable option for bettors. The sportsbook opened their virtual betting windows in August 2014. They’ve had a few complaints, but all of those have been resolved in a timely fashion. XBet’s and MyBookie’s servers are hosted in Canadian Indian territory, but their management in staff are based in San Jose, Costa Rica. In addition to a full-service sportsbook, they have an online casino and racebook.
A Personal Opinion About XBet Sportsbook
What We Like About XBet
We can’t put XBet into the upper echelon of sportsbooks just yet, due to their short time in the market and some early complaints, but they have the potential to get there. They do have a management team that has plenty of experience in the offshore betting industry, going back decades, so that certainly helps.
Their odds are competitive in most markets, and they offer much more than American sports, even though that is their primary clientele. As far as props and other exotics go, we’ve noticed their odds to be a bit soft. So, they have a decent bonus, decent odds, and have plenty of cashier methods.
They have also seen their rating rise at other sports betting watchdog sites, such as Sportsbook Review. XBet has risen to 4.0 to 4.5 in our ratings.
What We Don’t Like About XBet
XBet advertises fast payouts (48 hours or less), but that doesn’t seem to be the case from the information we’ve received from players and forum threads we’ve encountered. They’re probably paying players, but it looks like 3-4 days rather than 48 hours. Nearly every player must go through a KYC process before they can cash out, which seems to take longer than 48 hours based on our experience.
XBet has a smaller bonus than MyBookie.ag, although it’s a 100% Bonus instead of a 50% Bonus but only up to $300. So, it may be more ideal if you’re a small-time depositor. However, there is a 15x rollover if you deposit the full $300. This is an extremely high rollover, but as we mentioned above, their odds are competitive, so there are plenty of good betting options.
Finally, XBet just hasn’t been in the industry long enough to be a top sportsbook. The elite books have been in the industry a decade or longer and have gained player’s trust. It’s not a knock on them as a company, but more the volatility in offshore betting markets.
What Bettors Are Saying About XBet
XBet is the smaller and less promoted brand than MyBookie, so there hasn’t been a lot written specifically about them. However, there has been some payout complaints at SBR that has addressed from MyBookie. SBS management has also gotten a few of these. Complaints are not good, but all the issues we’ve discussed and those that have been looked at by SBR have been resolved positively.
XBet Sportsbook – Deposit and Withdrawals
XBet shares the same deposit and withdrawal options with MyBookie.ag. They have traditional methods, such as credit cards and debit cards, along with MoneyGram, eCheck, and Wire transfer. However, as always, we recommend Bitcoin due to the low fees on deposits and withdrawals.
All methods will come with varying fees, except for Bitcoin. BTC is the method most likely to be processed in 48 hours or less. Other methods take 1-2 weeks, such as a check or bank wire. MoneyGram transfer remains an option but has high fees and low payout amounts.
Players can request withdrawals via bank wire, check by courier, and through Western Union. They began accepting Bitcoin as a deposit method and withdrawal method. All of these withdrawal methods come with varying fees.

XBet offers a 100% Deposit Bonus up to $300 using the promo code “XB100” on their first deposit. The bonus comes with a rollover between 5x and 15x depending on the amount deposited. They also have a 50% Reload Bonus up to $250 for existing players.
Betting Markets and Interface
Betting markets at XBet are geared towards Americans, but most sports around the world are available for betting. You’re going to see the most markets for football and basketball, both pro and college, but there are lots of props for baseball and hockey, as well. Aside from just about every soccer league in the world, they also offer eSports wagering and other more obscure sports and events. Political betting and awards betting are also markets offered at XBet.
Their betting interface is one of the sportsbook’s best attributes. The software is quick, easy to use, and slow on the loading times. There are still loading times when changing sports, but there is no extra loading when adding wagers to the bet slip and placing bets. Their live betting interface is also strong, but they don’t have as many live betting options as other sites.
XBet and MyBookie both have minimum internet wagering limits of $10 and maximum limits of $1,000. However, these limits are increased over the phone. XBet says there is no max over the phone, but that may not be the case. A $1,000 limit over the internet is extremely low.
XBet Sportsbook Customer Support
There is 24/7 support available at XBet, but it seems to be one of the areas they are weakest.
Phone, email, and live chat are available, but players seem to get mixed answers from support. Their KYC process seems exceptionally slow, as well.
This is one area that certainly needs improvement.

New Players Give a “Thumbs Up” – XBet Sportsbook Review
The jury is still out on XBet as a long-term option, but for now, reports have been mostly positive. Competitive odds and a decent deposit bonus are enough to give them a try as a new offshore option. Time will tell if they can get to an elite level.
